My hotel stay was not bad. The only thing that's bothersome is when I registered, I was asked if I had a car. I told the lady "Yes", so she gave me a tiny paper for the car. I assumed its for the car to let Hotel employees know that I'm a guess. End of my stay, I'm charged $17 or $19 per day. My question is I did not know anything about parking charges. [...]

Good location for vacation traveler. Close to airport, shuttle to Caltrain to downtown SF and ball park. Easy access to highway 101 to go downtown, to bridges leading to Napa and Muir Woods, shore. Nice atrium for breakfast and evening reception. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

The hotel was close to the airport. Easy to get everywhere. Hotel was very clean and all personal done an excellant job. The breakfast buffett was great.I will stay at this hotel again when we are in San Fancisco.

We have stayed at Embassy Suites before and been very happy. So, when we did our search and saw Embassy we immediately decided that was where we would stay. So, we were very upset when we got to our room and there was exposed plumbing, the decor needed an update. There was a sleeper sofa, but no sheets or pillows. We asked the front desk about the Zoo and how far. He was informed but could not find directions and said that he would send them to our room but they never showed. The breakfast that we looked forward to in the morning was disappointing as well. The coffee cup I picked up had lipstick on it and I did luckily see before I drank from the glass and a number of other dishes we came across were not clean as well. Overall a very disappointing experience. We will not go back.

The check in/atrium area was very nice. The room(602) needed some updating and in need of a better vacuum job. The television, the air conditioning, and the clock needed some adjustments but the maintainence was very prompt, efficient and polite. They gave us a free in house movie for the inconvenience. The staff had told us the Cal Train was within walking distance of the hotel-this was not the case and it was also scary to get off the train at 10pm in a deserted area. We call the hotel and again they were helpful in telling us to climb the steps(Many, Many) to cross over the "track". They do not need to recommend this mode of transportation.

This hotel is a great place to stay with kids. Plenty of space, separate bedroom, the hotel staff was wonderful and the rooms were clean. Free breakfast in the morning. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is our room was directly across from the elevator. Our bedroom was quiet, but there is a ton of hallway noise by people waiting for the elevator for the kids to hear while trying to sleep on the sofa sleeper.

Word of caution for anyone thinking about staying at this hotel my wife's wedding/engagement ring was stolen out of our room in this hotel. To make matters worse the hotel made it seem like it was our fault. There was no compassion shown by the morning manager nor did it seem like they were really interested in getter to the bottom of it since it meant that a worker at the hotel had taken the ring. One of the first statements out of the Manager's mouth was call your insurance company rather than we apologize or we feel so bad. I guess the thought process behind their actions is that if they don't take responsibility they are not responsible. The whole process was just dehumanizing. In addition, the rooms were dirty and the service was subpar. I would not recommend this hotel as there are better hotels in Burlingame, which is not too far away. The only reason why we stay here is because my wife had to take a class and they were being held in this hotel.

Overall our stay was acceptable. The facility is older but was clean and the staff was friendly. The hotel added a $16 per day charge for parking and internet access is $15 per day. The additional fees are ridiculous in my opinion and had I known when I made my reservation it would have effected my choice of hotels.

Very well maintained and very friendly staff. Went out if their way to answer any questions and resolve any inquiries. Looking fwd to visit San Francisco again and def will be staying at this hotel again.

We chose this hotel for its close proximity to Candlestick Park. We were happy with everything, except the breakfast seemed to be somewhat insufficient for the number of hotel guests. Had to wait too long for things to be refilled. Same with Manager's reception... had to wait for snacks to be refilled. Staff was very friendly and professional. We ate dinner at the restaurant and it was very good but a little on the pricy side (which was expected). Overall great hotel!
