Days Inn San Francisco South/Oyster Point Airport

Not knowing the area, info made it seem closer to the hospitals in S San Fran.

The hotel offer shuttel to SFO international. They don't have shuttel they have a cobtract with a cab company. I call they told me to wait 5 minutes. I wait for 2 Hrs 30 minutes, several calls afther the taxi cab didn't want to answer at this time I check other hotels near by sold out. Afther the hotel told me to use any cab. I request non smoking room. They didn't have no smoking I have to accept afther the long wait.

Check in was excellent. The bathroom shower curtain was not cleaned very well. I found something icky on the shower curtain. The next day the cleaning person cleaned the shower curtain and tossed out the soap I brought with me. I also was left with face towels to dry myself off. I called the hotel operator and was provided with more towels the next day. Since, I didn't care to have more towels delivered that day. I had a tiny bit of trash in the bathroom and noticed it had not been dumped. But the trash in the bed room had been dumped. The first time I stayed at the hotel I had a smoking room and it seemed larger. More sink space. The other room was a non-smoking room with less space. The bathroom was very large for accommodating wheel chairs.

The room was clean and the price was good. However, the bathroom was almost bigger than the bedroom. The room with the bed was very small. We kept some of our bags in the bathroom. Service was very good. Taxi service was very prompt.

I chose it because it was cheap but of course you get what you pay for. It is a very small complex right next to the freeway which you can constantly hear unless other guests are slamming their doors or stomping around. It was a lot further away from everything than I thought/hoped it would be. They call it a lobby but it certainly is not a lobby. The only good thing was the bus stop was right in front of the hotel so I didn't have to drive into San Francisco and pay huge parking fees. It just happens to be a very long bus ride. Overall it wasn't horrible but it wasn't great. I'd say just below average.

The room was cleaned very nice each day. The Hotel was very small so there was not room for any extras like pool and weight room. Lobby and breakfast very small too.

The hotel was very unsafe. There was a lot of noise in the halls. People were yelling loud and swearing and then doors were slammed and cars were flying out of the parking lot. Also loud noises from nearby areas were heard that sounded like an explosion or shots or somehting. This place is very scary and just a terrible place to be at.

LOCATION WAS ONLY GOOD WE COULD FIND. ROOMS HAD OUTDATED APPLIANCES, SOME BROKEN, DOORS & WINDOWS NEED WEATHER STRIPPING. STAFF CLAIMED POLICE PATROL, WE NEVER SAW ANY DAY OR NIGHT. ALL DAY FRI. & SAT., AND UP TO MIDNIGHT, OTHER CUSTOMERS HAD ALL DOORS OPEN ON SEVERAL CARS, RADIO'S TURNED UP FULL BLAST, DANCING IN PARKING LOT. SLEEP IMPOSSIBLE AND MANAGEMENT WOULD NOT DO ANYTHING. LITTLE CHILDREN RUNNING BACK AND FORTH IN FRONT OF OUR UNITS, MANAGEMENT WOULD NOT DO ANYTHING, AND WHEN I TRIED, I WAS THREATENED BY MEXICAN THUGS. MY WHOLE FAMILY FELT AFRAID TO WALK TO OUR AUTO AT NIGHT. CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST IN A 4 FT. SQUARE AREA, VERY LIMITED, ONE PASTRY, ONE FLAVOR JUICE, APPLES AND FRUIT SPOILED, MILK SOUR, FOR HOT COFFEE, MNGR SUGGESTED WALKING ONE BLOCK TO BRAZILIAN COFFEE SHOP, DOWN STEEP HILL. VENDING MACHINES WERE EMPTY AS WAS ONLY ICE MACHINE. HIGH SPEED NET SERVICE INOPERABLE AND NO ON PROPERTY CUSTOMER COMPUTER CENTER. WE FELT RIPED OFF WITH THIS SELECTION. SHOWER CURTAINS HAD LARGE HOLES, AND SOMETHING BITE OUR LEGS IN BED, WE THINK FLEA INFESTATION.

rates are cheap, location is fine. Close to freeways, and with a Denny's restaurant near by. Gas stations are fairly close. The room was a bit smelly, it was clean, just a bad odor. big comfortable beds and good if you are coming into town during late hours.

Close to the airport and freeway 101 and 280. I read the reviews before booking and liked that the hotel was clean. It was, the room we got was right by the elevator, but we had no noise problem. If you call the hotel, they will send a cab to pick you up, which they have on call. Will stay there again.
