Best Western Plus Grosvenor Hotel

Convenient location by the airport, next to an IHOP and gas station, but had to pay for overnight parking. Didn't get to experience breakfast, but they accommodated our 10 pm check-in the night before. Not sure if all rooms are as small as ours was - it was a corner room, comfy queen bed, non-smoking, very nice view on the 8th floor from our tall and narrow window, tiny bathroom, shower pressure wasn't great. We would stay again.

The tv reception was not good. The movies were way overpriced-if they had flat screens, or just a new tv-no prob., as was the room service for so little selection nearby. There were 3 pillows for bed., room was clean, and made service did not disturb, as requested. if I would've booked directly with hotel, my breakfast would've been free, mcdonalds across st. But with rainy cold whether, you gotta drive out for food: 1 of 2 elevators

Brought my daughter and her friends to see the sights in San Francisco. Felt safe there. Was disappointed I had to pay $5.00 to park my car. [...]

Necessity item like lotion missing, parking lot fee, breakfast charge-no continental preakfast are things we would have appreciated. If there is a fee required for parking, at least have a stall or garage under the hotel instead of out in the opening. In addition to the hold on the card because it was a debit card, there was a 50.00 fee.

On airport shuttle run so very easy to gain access to airport. Has restaurant at hotel so very useful as there is nothing around.

The rooms were comfortable and roomy enough. We had two adjoining rooms with a door between the rooms. The decor was tasteful, warm, and comfy. The beds had clean, clean smelling linens and extra pillows! While the soaps, shampoos, lotions, and conditioners were not spa quality they were acceptable. The bathroom was a bit cramped compared to other hotel bathrooms but there was a non-skid tub and a corner soap tray that was accessible for someone showering with a bad back (no bending). There was almost instant warm water. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant staff was also attentive. We requested an early wake-up call and it was delivered on-time. We had a great experience and the location was superb.

It was nice, clean, and handy to the airport. We did have to wait a while to be picked up by the shuttle. Also they need more help behind the counter when checking in and out.

We went to Alcatraz and Fisherman s Warf. We visited family. We had everything we needed and the stay was very enjoyable. It was one of the better trips we have taken.

I'd NEVER stay at this hotel again & wouldn't recommend this place even to my enemies... There were numerous rooms on the floor with large groups smoking illegal substances; the entire floor had a smoke cloud in the hallway which penetrated under our door. When I asked the manager for a room change, he informed me there were no other rooms available in the hotel. i had a flight at 0600H & couldn't take the time to move my things to another hotel at 2300H. Finally, upon checkout I asked the manager for a receipt & contact information of the head manager of the hotel to discuss my stay; the evening manager refused both.

The best part of my stay was the shuttle driver. He was very helpful and informative. The Best Western itself needs some updating. It smells like an old hotel and was not that clean. Unfortunately, my room was located across from the very loud ice machine and elevators. My breakfast was not complimentary like advertised and it was definitely not worth $9.78. I will be staying at different hotel in the area next time I travel to the area for business.
