FULL WITH BED BUGS

I rated "Vagabond Inn South Lake Tahoe" and gave it 1 stars[...].FULL WITH BED BUGSMy family and I decided to take a mini vacation to Lake Tahoe for the weekend. We checked many different hotels in the South Tahoe area and searched for the best hotels in that area. Unfortunately, we did not check the reviews first and ended up getting totally dissapointed with our choice. Our goal was to get hotel close to everything and somewhere convenient. To our dismay we were extremely upset of the events that occurred after leaving a extremely dirty, poorly taken care of, disgusting odors and ended up in the hospital/clinic the following Monday. Bed bug bites all over my family including my sister in law who was also with us. We confronted the owner the evening of our stay and was offered a room that was just as nasty as the first room so we declined the offer to switch rooms. We stayed on a Saturday night and left Sunday morning. Monday morning we woke up with bites and a rash all over our bodies. This has to be one of the worst hotels that we have ever had in our travels. As, mentioned we did not check the reviews prior had we done that we would of never checked into this hotel and there was no possibility of us knowing about this horrible place especially when you see the pictures of the hotel online it truly is not what it represented. We wanted to go to the hot tub upon arrival however it was filthy and full of nasty hairs and dirt...we went to the front office to ask if someone could clean it and we were able to get someone to clean it right away and he stated he would call us when it was ready...we got a call alright but not good..we were told the hot tub is clean but the pump is broke...wow...what a bad weekend in a nasty dump!!!

WHERE'S THE CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST?

Dog friendly, but hardly any grass, office was closed at 7am, so not sure where the continental breakfast and coffee was, musty smell in room, bed in dire need of being replaced. Not worth $100. Maybe $60, tops.

not worth it

went to visit with friends, so didn't want to pay to much. This is suppose to be dog friendly, but had very little grass. Funny smell in the room, the bed was extremely uncomfortable. This place maybe worth $60, but no more. Coffee is suppose to be in lobby, but lobby was closed @ 7am.

weekend getaway

Our trip to Tahoe was made to look for weekend rentals in the area, as well as having a little fun. My wife and I wanted a place to stay near the casinos but away from the crowds. The motel was in a great location just a few minutes from the casinos. The room was standard but met our needs. The price was a little expensive but much less then staying at a casino hotel.
