Travel Inn - Lake Tahoe

location is great. But other than that, I can't say much about the hotel. We needed a night to sleep, so it worked out ok. hot water was coming, toilet flush was working and bed linen was clean (but mattress itself was not to our expectation), so basic necessities were met. There is no breakfast except coffee from front office. It is not a negative, there are many eateries close-by, just FYI.

Worst mistake I've made. I love deals but this was horrble. The room was disgusting and it put a damper on our vacation when we had to return to the hotel. Beds were super old and uncomfortable. Matress sunk in the middle Shower head was super low I had to bend my knees to shower and I'm 5'3. Bath towels were ripped! Carpet was gross! Just don't do it. Pay the extra $10 to stay elsewhere!

The purpose of our trip was a getaway,rest and relax. Did a little gambling. We were very disappointed with the Hotel about two items. Check in time was 3:00 pm, well the room was in total mess. We had to wait two hours, until the room was ready. The next morning we were looking forward to a nice cup of coffee. The coffee was not ready until 10:00 am.

Shockingly poor service from this hotel. They tried 3 times over the course of an hour, to not honor my Orbitz reservation which I had a copy of. They refused to give me a room key, told me Orbitz had not sent the fax, tried to raise the price, and told me my credit card was not valid (it was.) I refused to give in and finally got my room, but only after I got angry. For my efforts I got a rude 8:00 wake-up call in the room and eventually had to disconnect the phone because it wouldn't shut off. The poor attitude and borderline criminal behavior from this family owned business was shocking to me. I would never recommend this place due to their shocking, near criminal attempted shakedown of me despite my Orbitz reservation. Stay somewhere else!

We went went up to Tahoe for a quick ski trip and found this reasonable priced place for one night during a busy holiday weekend. Service was great at the front desk. Very hospitable and informative. [...] Would definately stay here for another quick boarding trip!

The hotel staff was rude. The sheets were dirty and the heater was broken. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else!

Hotels Location was great because it was near alot of shopping centers and about 5-10 minutes (w/traffic) from the casinos. Plus it was easy to get there since it's located on Tahoe Blvd. Staff was really friendly and had free wifi which saw they don't say they do on there amenities. The only thing I didn't like, is that alot of the stuff in the hotel was old like the furniture,tv, etc. Other than that it was clean and it was an overall good experience.

I just needed a place to crash for the night in South Lake Tahoe. The lady at the check in desk was super friendly. The hotel room is what I expected for $60 bucks; clean sheets, a small TV and a heater. Hotel is in a great location with Safeway a block away. If I needed a quick place to stay, I will stay again.

i was on a snow boarding trip, everything was cool. they have free coffee too.

Good staff, good location, rooms were below average. Shower didn't work right, had to hold the knob while taking shower. I would say it was good enough for an overnight stay but not worth $100 I spent. I guess thats what you get for a last minute booking anyway.
