Perfect in every way....
We had a great time staying here. Super clean room, great staff that was very helpful, close to the stateline but out of all the craziness at the casinos.

What a great hotel!!
Perfect location, easy access to stateline and all of the surrounding. Great staff that was friendly and helpful multiple times. Once we were locked out, got us a new key right away. We also got in super early and they had our room ready!!!

Great Place to stay for the price
Thought The Stardust was a great place to stay not only as a couple but as a family. Can't beat the price. Very clean rooms, the grounds were very well kept up and walking distance to all the main attractions. The only thing I wish they had was air conditioning. I get warm at night and like to have the air on. I'm not one to leave the window open. Other than that it is a great place to stay.

Nice stay
We just wanted a clean place close to the casinos with additional ammenities. We were happy with Stardust. We've been wanting to stay there for awhile. It is an older motel but well kept with friendly staff. They offer some activities (some free, some you pay a nominal fee) during the day. My girls and I opted to make mini scrapbooks for $5 each. We borrowed a game and movie free of charge. They offered all you can eat taco night for $7per person one night but we had to leave that day. Free hard boiled eggs, bananas, oranges, donuts, oj, coffee, tea, hot choc in the morning. They had popcorn avail all day. Just wished it was a little cheaper but this time period was in demand. Also wish we had 3 days and 2 nights to enjoy snowshoeing activities and more relaxing. Will go back again.

Nightlife tip:
Short walk from hotel
Check visitor's center for coupons. On the last day we stayed I found a coupon book for Harrah's/Harveys I could have used the night before for blackjack and the free arcade tokens for my kids.

No issues
The room was clean, you can hear quite a bit through the walls, but that is not unusual for any of the motels I have stayed at in South Lake Tahoe. The staff was helpful, no complaints!

Very good stay!
For the price the hotel was very good! And surprisingly quiet, given that it is on the main strip near the casino. Staff was friendly & though our room was small it was clean. Nice hot water too!

Great value for families
Its right across the street from heavenly Gondola, walking distance to the lake, restaurants, grocery and shops, and for those who care you can walk across the stateline to the casinos too. The studio rooms are exceptionally funcitonal and can sleep a couple and 1 child on the daybed type sofa easily. The kitchenete has microwave, refrigerator, blender, coffeemaker, dinnerware and silverware; they will even bring you a double electric stovetop if you need to cook. The staff is very very friendly and go above and beyond in providing service. There is plenty of parking.

Don't miss the hike to Eagle Lake if you are in reasonable shape otherwise at least try to make it to the Eagle Falls.

Dont waste your money
- 2 rooms look like they do in the photos on Orbitz, all the rest are dingy, dirty and cramped. I call false advertising for sure. - Worst breakfast ever. Ive had better at a 1 star in Mozambique.. ended up getting McD's which I hate and it was gourmet in comparison - Heating system.. wait, what heating system??.. set it at 70 and die! ended up opening the door to cool it down and it was March.. Reception ended up giving me a 20 inch heater which also had no thermostat. - Couch, dodgy stains.. enough said. - Good location but thats it, pay the extra bucks and go somewhere else
