Secrets Inn Lake Tahoe

Our trip for the night was for my brother's wedding and our annivesary. We had stayed at Secrets several times in the past and did enjoy it, this time was much better because of [...]. She greeted us warmly & friendly. We had gotten there early and asked if we could check-in as we had time to spend before the wedding dinner, she accomodated us without a problem and plus she upgraded us with our choice of rooms.My husband and I chose Secrets because we have been there before and enjoyed the room. We were happily surprised with our service this trip.. It wasn't bad before, it was just much better this time. We also enjoy the fireplace heater. As a couple who heat thier house with a woodburning stove, I for one loved that we had a fireplace without the lugging of wood and keeping it going. It provided the perfect warmth for a night in Tahoe that was going for a last push of winter weather.My only issue, and even then is no issue, I loved the towels, they just could have been a tad larger to snuggle up into more. The bed & linens, no complaints at all, comfy, warm and soft.Thank you, [...] for making our visit such a pleasure! We will return for a visit!

We checked into the motel and everyone who worked there was so nice. We asked for a room on the second floor and she saw what was available and even gave us an upgrade on the corner in a room with no one surrounding us! We got into the room and there was a huge shower, jacuzzi, and bed. The fireplace was warm and the whole place was romantic. The next day, we decided to take a drive around the lake and checked out a cd from the front desk that explains every landmark you pass and the history behind it, along with cool spots to stop along the lake. We were glad we did that. Excellent trip and excellent hotel. Terrific value and we will definitely be back!

Secrets Inn was a 5 minute walk to Heavenly Gondola and to the lake; and less than 15 minutes to Casinos (if that's your thing). It is a fairly typical resort type inn, with some nice comfort features: whirlpool tub, shower with good water pressure, very comfotable bed and nice furnishings. Parking lot and nearby room noise were a bit of a problem. The staff was very friendly and accomodating, a real family affair.

Secrets Inn is a great place to stay for couples. The staff were very friendly and accomodating. The rooms are newly upgraded and romantic. A little small but that added to the coziness. The room was clean and only a $5 taxi ride to the Casinos. The only hitch is DO NOT book your room through [...]. My sister and her boyfriend also booked a room for the same exact night but they booked it through Secrets Inn. Not only was their room cheaper in price but it was nicer and bigger. [...]

Great little place. Newly remodeled and updated. Well located in South Lake Tahoe.

My fiance and I stayed here while we got married up in Tahoe and we had a great time. The staff was so warm and friendly, the rooms were beautiful and fun, and the location is great. Close to the casinos, close to the lake and close to shops and food. We didnt check in until 9pm and I had called ahead to ask the front desk if that would be an issue and they said absolutely not. They would be at the property until at least 10. The staff gave us great information on nice places to dine and passes to the private beach. They were awesome! This was probably the best stay at a hotel that I have ever had.

My fiance and I decided to take a little vacation time, and chose to stay at the secret inn. the locastion is wonderful, just about 3 blocks or so from the casinos. The rooms I do wish were a little bigger, but the jaccuzi tub made up for it. The room was very cozy and warm with the fireplace running. The bed was comfy and BIG! gotta love king size beds =] overall this trip was great, it couldnt have been any better at another hotel, this hotel was great for a romantic getaway with the love of your life =]

Beautiful room with jacuzzi tub, mini refrigerator, King size bed, walk in shower and fireplace. The only thing the rooms need is a few more square feet for a table and chairs. Also the walls are thin so if you have a noisy neighbor you'll be up all night.

It was okay very nice room with jacuzzi and walk in glass shower loved it but did not have all amenties like iron and had to walk far for ice staff was informative of directions and hot spots but were friendly.

The Secrets Inn has been remodeled and although they have done a pretty good job of it, the rooms are really tiny and feel slightly claustrophobic because of the dark paint on the walls. If you do decide to stay, make sure you ask for a room on the second level. Ours was on the first level at the entrance of the parking lot which made us feel like we were in a fish bowl. All that said, it was clean, comfortable and the staff was nice. Plus, you can't beat the location!
