Great room for the price. Upgraded when presented AAA membership, likely based on it being a slow weekend. Great service - and excellent breakfast for the free price :) It is a good location as well, on the state line (California/Nevada) - ideal for anyone visiting the area. Only recommendation would be to check your windows - we did not notice that they were opened by the cleaning staff after they cleaned the room and the room would have warmed up faster if we knew that behind the curtains the windows were slightly open :)

Breakfast was convienent! Great location. Needs a little updating inside. Good for price.

It is very near to casino and Heavenly gondala. It is also very close to Tahoe queen.

During our stay there was a leak from the up stairs room. The staff was quick to respond and put us into another room. The hotel was a short two blocks to the lake and minutes away from all the action. It would have been the perfect stay, if not for the leaky ceiling.

Bringing in the NYE at the last minute stay..this is the place. Alot of kids but awsome place. Will come again.

My husband and I were looking for an affordable, nice and comfortable place to stay for the weekend in South Lake tahoe.. the price and nice breakfast that was offered was perfect, hotel was clean and comfy... i would suggest this inn to anyone..

Booked for 4 nights. We left after one. We slept there the first night because it was late and we were exhausted but it felt like we were camping. The view out the bathroom window toward the lake is of a strange compound with at least 4 trashed couches and tons of junk. I would have loved a hot shower, but there was no way I was going to shower in that stand up stall. The bathroom reminded me of a campground bathroom. The room was so tiny and ugly and uncomfortable. We left the next morning. Had to book a new hotel and just forget about the waste of money. It ruined our stay in Lake Tahoe. I would not book a hotel through Orbitz again because you pay up-front and don't know what you're getting. WHO rated this place 3.5? Crazy!

Friendly Staff. Small Parking lot, filled up fast. Short walking distance to Nevada side. For a quick stay was a good deal.

The complimentary breakfast in weekends was surprisingly good. It came with scrambled eggs. I loved the waffle maker... Another good thing was that the motel's location was off of the boulevard. It was tucked away in the trees, which proivided a nicer setting. The room itself was solid, generic, ordinary. No glaring flaws. And now the bad. Our room was not cleaned one day, and the staff tried to slither out of cleaning by saying there was a tour bus coming in and those rooms needed to be cleaned. Say what?! Were they not cleaned before? What about the rest of us today? Also, a sign was posted on 9/11/11 that the pool would be closed the next day, but the signage indicated that the pool and jacuzzi were closed already. We wanted to use the jacuzzi that day. There was no reason to disallow swimmers, aside from the fact that the pool had already been drained half way. . So there were some annoyances, but overall I would probably pick Rodeway Inn -- or one of the other motels off the beaten path -- than the plethora of choices that were on Lake Tahoe Blvd.

our experience was fairly good. The hotel was an easy 5 min walk to Harvey's Casino. The rooms were very clean although a bit small. The walls are kind of thin and you can hear neighbors and people walking in the rooms above.
