Never Again
Looks a lot better than it is- basic motor lodge sold as a full service hotel. Tried to get a refund on the resort fee since the pools were empty and the "organic bath amenities" don't exist. Staff was unapologetic at best and refused. Thought I found a good off season rate, but after the fees and unfriendly service we'll try elsewhere.

Finding the front door was the only hard part of my stay Friendly face at the counter. Warm room on a cold night, clean with plenty of hot water and near the lift.

Tahoe is fabulous!
Stayed 6/11 - 6/15. The location of this motel was just right. Very close to main street but very quiet. Loved that it was right across from the gondola ride (a must do!), shops, breakfast cafe and Applebee's is right next door. Beach location was close, and it was easy to get to NV casinos a few blocks away. All in all, this is a good place to stay if you are on a budget and don't care about opulence.

Dining tip:
Short drive from hotel
Go to the restaurant at the end of Ski Run Blvd - it has a lovely deck close to the water and a marina. Nice place for dinner.

Lake Tahoe Getaway
I chose the Park Tahoe Inn for because I got a good deal. The location was close to the Nevada border and near plenty of restaurants and shops, in addition to public transportation. The room itself was clean well kept and the staff was very professional and helpful. Overall, I feel that the value for the money I paid was very good.

Typical Old Tahoe Motel
The motel is ok if all you need is a bed to sleep in and a place to shower. It is a short walk to Stateline and the casinos. No frills.

Perfect for Heavenly
Clean convenient not fancy perfect for skiing. They let me park there all day when I checked out which they did not have to do. No hot tub but the rest was great. Would stay again.

Great value for the buck
Great location, about a block to the main Gondola. Lots of shops, restaurants coffee shops were just steps away. The room was basic, clean with comfy mattresses. The hot tub/pool was disappointing and parking was at a premium. I'd definietly stay there again but don't expect a luxurious room.

Nice place
I have stayed at Park Tahoe many times. One of the nicer motels near the California/Nevada stateline due to a remodel a couple of years ago. It's not cheap but is a decent value compared to the outrageous weekend room rates at the major hotels in South Lake Tahoe/Stateline, NV
