Pretty Freaking Awesome!

This was by far the best location in South Lake and the rooms were recently updated with an awesome bathroom and new posturpedic (sp?) beds that were excellent. The worst part was that the jacuzzi was not very warm. You could definitely here your neighbors running water or talking at times but the rooms were great and affordable and again, the location was key for walking almost anywhere. Will definitely go again soon.

Great hotel for skiers

I was there for skiing. The "economy" room with a king bed was very tight, but decent for the very low price (with breakfast included - rare in this area). The rest was pretty good: room was clean and nice, modern bathroom in good condition. Breakfast was OK. The best thing was the location - close to everything what a skier needs.

Just ok

The location was exactly where we wanted to be, and for the money, it was a reasonable room. They have spruced the place up and made it more modern, and the bed was great! That being said, the comforter was stained, the bed was FAR to enormous for such a small room, and the bathroom was extremely cramped. The "mineral spas" were a total joke...but they still charge you a $7 service fee for them, even if you don't even use them.

Entertainment tip: Short walk from hotel

Anyone wanting to be close to all the casinos without paying for a room in the casinos will like that this place is so inexpensive for its great proximity to everything that stateline has to offer in the way of entertainment, shopping, dining and nightlife.

Great location, clean hotel

Staff was friendly and helpful upon checking in and out. Location was great, across the street from the Heavenly Gondola and shops and within a 1/4 mile from Stateline and Casinos. Rooms were adequate in size, newly remodeled and kept clean. We had two kids with us and the room was sufficient for the four of us. Plenty of places to eat and shop nearby as well. Definitely would stay again.

Good location for skiing

I enjoyed a drive free skiing weekend within easy walking distance to everything from the tram to the restaurants and casinos. Good price and a quiet clean room as well.

Great bed, good location

Nice TempurPedic bed made for a comfortable night's sleep. The rooms were somewhat small but well laid out with a good sized shower. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the Heavenly gondola and quite a few shops and restaurants. My only complaint is that the walls were a bit thin.

Great location. A bit noisy.

This property is located next to the major road in South Lake Tahoe. We could hear all the traffic noise in the room. Also, the walls are thin and I could hear neighbors' TV. We did not want to use the jacuzzi because of the traffic noise. However, this property is located across the street from skiing. Very convenient to walk to shopping, eating, and casinos.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

DO NOT eat at Womack's, a nearby restaurant. It's overpriced and the food is mediocre. And the place is so small that chances are you'll be elbowing your neighbor during your meal.

nice place

The staff was very friendly, the room was nice, the bed was great. My wife and I usually stay at the cheapest motel we can find in SLT. On this occaision the Park Tahoe was only ~$10 more than the cheapies so we decided to upgrade. It was so much nicer and worth the extra few dollars. The tempurpedic bed was great! The location is great for skiing, and the hotel is quiet even though it is right on the main drag of town. We'd definately stay here again if the price was competitive.
