people in first room, and 2nd room, came in last room

WE checked in went to our room, found it to be occupied, went back to desk got another room, found lady there waiting for bell hop to move her. As our bellhop got there with our clothes there was 2 ladys who were assigned to the room we were assigned to. WTF. $16 a day parking, no wifi SLOW at restraint (1 man doing it all) RUDE sales on timeshares. We will never go to this puke ever again. I say you should stay away from this place at all costs. bad times. A vacation where I was happy to get home.

Never again!

I give one star only because the actual room was decent. I booked my rooms in Jan to stay in April. I go to check in and they only have a reservation for one room. Luckily I had my confirmation showing I paid for two. The lady then proceeded to tell me that my room could accommodate the amount of people I had staying with me. I paid for 2 rooms and it was nonrefundable. Give me my two rooms! At check out I was told that I would be charged for my 2nd room until they could prove it was paid for. I had already given them my confirmation and receipt... There is no free wifi, so we bought some and it was horrible! It goes in and out like crazy. The "concierge" was very pushy and wanted to sell the 90 minute timeshare tour. When I turned it down he became very rude. Yes, they have "complimentary" valet but you have to pay $16 a day for parking! So is it really complimentary??? I would not stay here again, nor would I recommend it to my worst enemy.

Overnight trip.

It's a time share, not a real hotel. We enjoyed the phone calls waking us up trying to sign up for the exciting 90 minute wonderful sales pitch.

Outdated, noisy bedroom

I couldn't sleep. Lots of noise coming from the boiler. I wasn't the only one complaining. There was another couple complaining of the same noise. The rooms needs remodeling..very oudated. The room was very HOT and couldn't get the AC to kick in. I ended up opening the windows. Also, they charge $16 for parking. There is NO self parking within the premises.

Needs that special something.

It was OK, needs a couple of restrooms in the lobby, restaurant could stay open till 11pm instead of 9pm, they should have a complimentary breakfast, room was too hot, because it was Lake Tahoe the value was there but staying at a Merriot would have been better. I really liked that it was right next to the lake and close to the shops, also it was about 3 or 4 miles to Nevada where the Casinos are.

Parking Problem

The resort is in the process of remodeling or updating. The parking lot is not available for self parking. It is valet only! Plus the resort charges you $16 a day for the parking.

Mammoth Mountain Resort a mammoth let down.

Absolutely stunning location at 9000 feet above sea- level on the side of Mammoth Mountain. Check-in was quick and the staff courteous. The let down started when we found our room not in the main lodge, but in a barracks-like facility (The Yodeler) close by. It was nothing to yodel about. Once we entered the hallway, the dank smell and dimly lit facility immediatley meant "bait and switch". In the barracks, the over-heated rooms are small and outside of a small coffee maker and a nice flatscreen TV, very spartan. No microwave or refrigerator en suite...no floor space to accomodate. Thankfully, the room was quiet and we were able to force the window open and get the temperature down to a comfortable level. The bed was comfortable. The next morning , the view of the slopes was jaw dropping and lessened the disappointment of the room a bit. This place could be a jewel with some upgrades in the barracks to make it worth the money we paid. I dropped the keys in a quick check-out box rather than start the day by making a desk clerk uncomfortable with comments about my disappointment.

Be sure to stop for food and snacks down the hill in Mammoth Lakes before going up the hill to the Inn. It's 6 miles each way and not a convenient thing to do at night.

Great place to take anyone who is visiting from Europe.

A visually beautiful hotel sitting at the perfect spot on the south shore of Lake Tahoe. It is close to all the major attractions at Stateline, yet not caught in the maze of traffic at the state border area, so it is a bit more quiet. The staff and concierge teams were superb and went out of their way to make the stay a special event for our Spanish guests. Our Spanish visitors were greatly impressed with the resort. One thing did catch us by surprise...a $16.00 per day valet parking fee. Whlle not a budget buster, it was unexpected fee and not reported until we got to the door. You have no other choice to park your car.

Lake Tahoe Resort Vacation

These accommodations were wonderful! So much so that we puchased a time share to enjoy future vacations with Diamond Resorts. The best part of this hotel was it's location....close to everything you need and right on the lake. The weather was also perfect. The staff was extremely friendly and the rooms were clean. Would have like room service more often to make my beds for me though !
