Weekend get away

Room was beautiful and updated. Bed was very comfortable and the comforter was soft and clean... Not crunchy like in some hotels. Softest bed! We slept like rocks! Room much nicer than some pricier rooms we have stayed in. Would have loved a blow dryer in the room, but I survived.

Not so great

This wasn't my first stay here, but it will definitely be my last. The first time I stayed here, it went without a hitch. This time, not so much. Room keys weren't working (in either of the rooms we were moved to) had to get manager to let us in any time we left the room. Annoying. Front desk guy was somewhat unstable. Heater didn't work & had to be moved to other room. When using hair dryer, we were told not to have any other appliance on or it would trip the breaker (really?). I think that was the last straw.

Mixed feelings....

A motel that's been remodeled and decorated beautifully. Has hardwood floor, powerful shower, fridge in room, feels clean, new, and even a little bit artsy. Close to Heavenly gondola (around 8 minutes walk). And the staff was the nicest I have ever met. HOWEVER, the hardwood floor has its downside - it's incredibly noisy if you stayed on first floor and the guy (even worse, lady with pumps) above you kept walking. And the wireless internet didn't work in room (staff said they were gonna fix it in a week). No coffeemaker in room, though not a big deal for me.

NIce little hotel

I had no expectations, but was pleasantly surprised by the room I received. Yes, there's the odd Rolling Stones & Bob Marley art on the walkway, but that adds to the charm. Flat screen in room, clean, heat worked well. Short walk to the casinos, if you are into that. Nice shopping center across street for all the things you might need while staying. No complaints.
