Great anniversary stay
My partner and I stayed at Forest Suites for our five-year anniversary trip. This was our first trip to Lake Tahoe and enjoyed our stay. The resort was near all casinos and Heavenly Village gondolas (closed for season while we visited) and everything is within walking distance. We were surprised with on check in with a free room upgrade.

Forest Suites
Was perfect just outside of Heavenly Village it gives you that secluded wood cabin feel but you are just minutes from the Village and the Casino's. The one bedrrom suite was huge and the staff was friendly.

If you get a room with a kitchen it only takes about 5 minutes to walk to Raleys, the local mart.

Great location. Great price. Great room.
Very clean, comfortable room. Within walking distance of all we wanted to do. Will stay here again in the future.

Good Place for the buck
Good location for everything, Movies, Heavenly, Raileys for snacks, A good enough breakfast, free parking, older place but we had no problems rooms were clean, new Air and Heat, staff was very helpful.

Nice place, but ageing
We went there for skiing. There was a large living room with couch and a attached kitchenette. The bedroom was nice. Every unit has a heating and AC element build in with thermostat. But they are loud. The hotel is very conveniently next to the gondola. The room do not to be set up for skiers though. Strange. No storage for ski clothing, skis and boots.

Hotel is in great location, 2 minute walk to gondola, fairly clean considering it is a ski resort hotel. Kitchen is very bare with not too many pots and pans or dishes. continental breakfast was not bad with lots of choices. Finally good value all around, right in the village, near the lift, only complaint I have was the lighting in the rooms, lots of lamps with low watt bulbs.

food on the mountain is very expensive, we spent $30 first day for 1 soup $12, $13 for small sheppards pie, $4 for ice tea plus tax. we decided to buy a small backpack and the Ralley grocery store is 2 min away and packed sandwiches rest of the week.

unbeatable location & @ the right price
We came to ski the area and staying at the Forest Suites was every enjoyable Staff exremely helpful and friendly. We did notice that the elevator permit was out of date

real good get-a-way
I WOULD HAVE GIVEN THE Forest Suites Resort 5 STARS BUT THE ROOM WASN'T THAT CLEAN (MAY I'M JUST TO PICKY).OVERALL IT WAS A GOOD EXPERENCE.
