Beverly Lodge South Lake Tahoe

It took me 4 rooms to get one that I could use. The first one was on the second floor. I can not walk up steps. The second room had 1 bed. I had asked for 2 beds. The third room had no window screen and it stunk.

This HOTEL should be closed down!!!!!! We check out and went to another hotel. NEVER,NEVER, AGAIN!!!!!!!

DO NOT RISK YOUR HEALTH OR WASTE YOUR MONEY. Zero Customer Service from the front desk. Do not care about the customers at all or how disgusting the rooms are. There was black mold growing on the shower curtain, dirty foot and hand prints on the walls by the beds, food stains on the walls, hair in the bathroom, trash under the beds, and stained bedding. The bedroom didn't even have a door on it (only door hinges)! I have never been so disgusted by a hotel/motel in my life. I would never stay here again, you couldn't pay me to. The people across the way from us had bed bugs! Worst experience ever. Did I mention it was completely overpriced? We asked to get our room cleaned several times and it didn't happen. The people who run this place do not care about the people staying there. I was glad to get out of there after the second night.

I booked for two bed non smoking room. Upon arrival at the hotel, the room was not there. As a result, we were moved from beverely lodge to another hotel. It was not a nice experience.[...]

The staff was very nice but the room was ok. No A/C but there was a fan. It was clean!

The room was pretty basic but it was reasonably clean and comfortable. It was very short walking distance to a few stores and restaurants. It was fine for what I needed and it worked well for me. My only complaint was that the bed didn't have contoured sheets on the mattress, it just had flat sheets that were tucked under the mattress. That's my pet peeve because they always come loose.

You got what you pay for

This hotel was a nightmare. We did not stay the night. After a long day in the sun we came to the hotel sunburned and tired. We expected an economy hotel but what we didn't expect was a horrible smelling, hot room. We were exhausted so we tried to stay. We bought air freshener and opened the doors and windows to air out the room. Then we pulled back the cover to find smelly dirty stained pillow cases. I went down to the front desk and asked for all new pillow cases. The owner took me to the laundry room and gave me 4 "freshly laundered" pillowcases. They didn't smell clean and I rejected the first one because it had lots of human hair on it and then the 2nd because it had some kind of grass on it and then the 3rd because of more hair. After that we decided to leave and drive to Sacramento from Tahoe at 11pm after arriving at 10pm. If this is the kind of hotel Orbitz books, I'm not using Orbitz anymore.

It was an ok hotel. We were in town for a family reunion, so it was a place to sleep. The bathroom toilet ran constantly, or didn't flush very well. Towels were very thin. Deadbolt on door would work, but then you could not get it unlocked. The front office was very seldom staffed to ask for help. The owner did call me one night when I had left my lights on in my car..

Room is really small. Smelled really bad with no AC the room had a Standing Fan that was really noisy. Will not stay there again.
