Nice and Easy

The hotel is half a block away from the casinos and one block away from the heavenly gondola. We arrived early for our reservation and were accomodated. The rooms are cozy and clean with HBO and more importantly a blasting heater. The proximity to the casinos offers many options for dining and nightlife. Overall you can't beat the conveniance and comfort. I'm definately going to stay there next time.

Toby Keith concert getaway

We loved staying here! The room was clean, the grounds manicured beautifully, the staff very friendly, and the proximity to the concert at Harveys, muah! We will definitely stay here again and next time we will bring the kids to swim in the fantastic pool.

Clean, Comfortable, Great Value

In a town with dozens of run down motels, the Alpine Inn stands out as a great choice. Clean, comfortable, a great value, and in a great location. Rooms have been remodeled, and include microwaves, and mini fridges. Overall, a perfect place to rest after a day of skiing on the slopes, or hiking on the trails.

Unbeatable value in a great location

We've stayed here twice now. It is as basic as it gets, but extremely clean. The rooms were recently refreshed. The location, walking distance to the Gondola, and across the street from the Casinos, is fantastic. It was quiet at night, and toasty warm in the room without being stuffy (a problem we've had at other hotels). The only ding is that the "spa" consists of a shallow, lukewarm and rather run-down hot tub. We have stayed at more expensive places, but would rather come to Tahoe more often and stay here! We highly recommend the Alpine Inn to other budget travelers!

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

There is a Starbucks literally across the street from the Alpine Inn, in the lobby of the Harvey's Casino, just go through the first door you see and there it is.

Clean, friendly and close to everything

The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and tidy. We could walk one block to Heavenly Gondola or catch complimentary buses to most other ski fields from just across the road. We enjoyed the outside hot tub after each long day of boarding on the mountains. Nothing fancy, but great for what it is.
