968 Park Hotel

Good location to the gondola and shops. Rooms small but clean and fine. Pillows were uncomfortable though.

The decor is hip enough, the bed comfortable, and the overall experience was perfectly pleasant. The location is easily walkable, but not really in ski-boots, to the gondola, where there are lockers. There is some covered parking, which is a huge bonus when it is storming. The room had radiant heat, which is very comfortable, but takes a while to bring the temperature up. The cable TV options are slightly lacking, but they are probably identical to everything else in South Lake.

Great time at the hotel but I wish they would upgrade their bar downstairs and also have a wider set of options at breakfast. Great place and will stay again.

Staff was very friendly and always helpful. Hotel bed was excellent and the room was sweet! All organic cotton sheets, they had spa/massage services, 1/2 off happy hour at the bar, dry sauna, pool and plasma tv. Great place,especially for the price. Coffee was ready in the Lobby at 6am, which is nice, but I prefer a coffee machine in the room so i don't have to get dressed to get some. The only complaint i have is that the walls aren't too sound proof; you can hear your neighbors, which is kind of a pain when they are yelling and arguing after drinking and gambling all night. 2 separate times drunken loud idiots came back and made noise so loud, I am sure the entire hotel was disturbed. Other than that, this place is perfect, and situated in a great location!

968 was the perfect hotel for my girls getaway this weekend! Room was very nice and super quiet, the pool was very warm with these AMAZING Cabanas that were so comfy and the staff was very helpful and curtious! Not to mention, the location is a quick walk to food and casinos! I would definitely recommend this hotel because I plan on staying here every time I go to Tahoe now!

My sister and I stayed at the 968 Park for a few nights. Would we stay there again? Eh, not sure. The Hotel/Motel is definitely not your typical business establishment. This place has "heady" vibes (jam band music playing in the lobby), everything's eco-friendly and organic, and there were a lot of Oregon license plates in the parking lot. When I walked in I was like, "Whoa, it kind of smells like a yoga studio in here!". I felt like I was staying on some hippy commune-but a nice one. So, the pros: the beds are amazingly comfortable, daily maid service, coffee and juice in the lobby every morning (plus some crumb cake thing), interesting & quirky decorative touches, big tv's in rooms, sauna and hot tub on 1st floor. Cons: many typical amenities missing; tissues, AIR CONDITIONING (not really a problem unless you're inside during the day), fans provided are noisy, phone in room has no instructions (we called the front desk using our cell phones), staff wasn't completely knowledgeable (we asked how much the late check-out fee was and they didn't know and gave some confusing answer), pool is dinky, hot tub is small and was always crowded, no full-lenth mirror in room, no furniture in room that has drawers to unpack clothes in (there was a wardrobe with 3 hangers). So, all in all, not a bad experience; definitely an interesting one!

Great location and very comfortable, clean room and property. A "green" hotel--and a great job that they did with it. Very friendly, nice lobby, free coffee, juice and breads in the a.m. and access to a really nice, private beach down the road. The only negative is that the pool was not open at the time.

Extremely close to the Nevada heavenly lift, by tahoe standards there is alot to do within a 5 minute walk. Room had basic amenities and staff was helpful. Great place to crash after skiing.

Clean, comfortable, close to Skiing and Casinos.

Friendly staff. Excellent location if you want to ski at Heavenly. Competitive pricing. Comfortable beds. Reasonably quiet rooms. Fresh coffee in the morning. Would definitely stay here again.
