The staff were very friendly and helpful. The extended complimentary breakfast was very good, and we even got a fireplace in our room. I would definitely return.

Budget Stay
Cheap stay next to Gondola at Heavenly and Casinos. Don't expect a lot. Great location and price for showers and place to sleep. Hot tub for relaxing worked perfect.

Beware of booking fees
The hotel was fine for the price, but my two night stay also included $20 in booking fees. [...] It was pretty inexcusable. NOTE: There is a Gary Busey look alike who will be in the hot tub everynight. This part is awesome.

Great place to stay while visting Tahoe
This was a great little hotel. There are less than 10 rooms to this small independent hotel, as are many other hotels in the area. The Seven Seas had a friendly staff and were always accessible if you needed them. Though no pool, they do have a hot tub. It's just a short 2-block walk to the beach which you have free access to while staying at the hotel. The NEvada casinos are just a quick 5 minute walk. Free Wifi, nice free breakfast including frozen waffles, cereal, bagels and bread. The rooms were clean and nice. Ours had a fireplace, but we did not need it as it was still warm. If you are travelling with dogs, this is a great place because they are very dog friendly. If you hate dogs, then watch out. Someone might have a dog in a near by room. We did not have a dog, but had no problems with those that did. I would highly recommend this great little hotel.

Dining tip:
Short drive from hotel
Freshies. 3330 Lake Tahoe Blvd., Ste 3, South Lake Tahoe, CA 96150. Great views of the lake and sunset. Hawaiian fusion food was excellent. Fresh and delisghtful. Staff had to climb stairs to the rooftop portion a million times, but they always seemed happy and friendly. We loved the fish tacos and the Jambalaya salad. Yes you have to take the key and go on a little adventure to find the bathroom. But this place is excellent.

Fine motel for the money
For the money, this motel was a good place to stay for a couple nights. The rooms are definitely a bit worn but the people running it were very nice. Access to both the beach and casinos is a short walk.

Pretty darn decent
We went to enjoy Lake Tahoe, and so where we stayed wasn't so important to us. We wanted something safe, clean, quiet and close to the lake. 7 Seas was all of those for sure. The staff was very laid-back and helpful, and we had everything we needed to enjoy our weekend. As far as the rooms, they were okay, just a little dark and cramped, no fancy-schmanciness here. But again, everything we needed was there.

Seven Seas at the Lake
We went to South Lake to attend a family reunion and there weren't enough beds at the family cabin. So we rented a room at the Seven Seas and although all we did is sleep in the room and spent most of our time at the cabin, the room worked well for us. And the picture tells a lot about the motel - it isn't new and the rooms aren't big. But everything was clean, the bed was good, and the people were very nice. This is an inexpensive motel but it would be worth staying there again. It was safe, clean and we slept well. They had great tea. There are some things that need maintenance (the box fan was missing a blade). And the cleaning supplies they used left a residua perfume that we needed to air out. But the three nights cost what one night at the more expensive places would have.
