Great Location
We were upgraded to a Parlour Suite which had a separate bedroom and full kitchen. It was very nice. The hotel was 2 blocks from the beach and 2 blocks from Harrahs Casino. A nice grocery store is 3 blocks.

Great location/price, friendly staff
This hotel is within walking distance of the Heavenly Shopping Center and Heavenly Gondola, a Raley's grocery store, a few decent restaurants (which is helpful if you want to drink and don't want to have a designated driver), mini-golf, movie theater, and the major casinos. The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially if you don't know the area and are looking for things to do/places to go. We only wished that it had a continental breakfast and that we had picked a room with a full kitchen (the poolside suite did have a small fridge, though).

Short walk from hotel
The Naked Fish sushi restaurant was very, very good and within decent walking distance west on Highway 50, and Cafe Fiore was also very good (a little expensive, but worth it, short drive needed).

Beautiful area
Nice place with real comfortable beds. Had a mini kitchen in it which was nice. Only a block away from main road, so quiet and convenient. Close to super market, lots of restaraunts and little tourist shops. I would stay here again. They give you free access to a private beach as well. No breakfast though, not that I seen at least. That was the only turn off.

Simply, a very good place to stay
We arrived in a late Spring snowstorm. The woman checking us in was very friendly and helpful. The room was spotless, with unique western furnishing. It also had a refridgerator, which was very welcome. A short walk to the beach, and only a mile from most of the very good restaurants and other stuff. About 100ft from the Stateline. Will certainly stay there again.

Absolutely go to "Freshies" restaurant. A small, "Hawaiian" and fish restaurant. In a strip mall about 1.1 miles from the hotel, but absolutely worth it, both in decor, service, and great healthy food. And inexpensive. A good winelist, appetizers, and just cozy and local feeling.

Fantastic Hotel!!
We could not have asked for anything better than this hotel. The service was excellent. They gave us a free upgrade! The room was spotless clean with a super comfy king sized bed, flat screen TV and a whirlpool tub. The hotel is about one block from the main street, about a 2 minute walk. The casino hotels are about a easy half mile walk. The hotel had a computer and printer to use for free in the lobby. Thanks!!

nice motel/good location
we have stayed at Lake Tahoe a couple of times, and love the area. we enjoyed skiing, the scenery, restaurants etc... The Place where we stayed advertises as a resort, but infact is more like a motel. The 2 deluxe kings we had , in our opinion are just regular King rooms, not sure where the deluxe bit is!!! Staff were freindly and positive attitude.Pleased thay accpet pets, which is i think why they are so busy, but the place was full nealy all nights we were there, which is good for them.We all had trouble sleeping at night for some reason, whether it was the dry air, beds, pillows,or the noisey a/c or all of these issues,we are`nt sure. beds are too soft, aswell the pillows, for us, but some will like this. The price was good, and overall good value. Housekeeping was also very pleasant. Over all we enjoyed lake tahoe, but the property would be better with these changes.
