This hotel has been updated and renovated. It looks awesome. It equals the other spa resorts in the area at a much better price.

Close to downtown sonoma

My husband and I booked the hotel for our honeymoon. It was super close to downtown Sonoma and about 20 minutes from downtown Napa. Room was great with a deep soak tub and fireplace. We loved the quiet environment around the pool and enjoyed a few late night hot tub soaks. Everything was great until the last day when several hotel goers brought their children. It was kind of a shock to all of us around the pool. This resort screams couples only but apparently the hotel allowed the noisy children. All in all worth the money but just a disappointment with the random children.

strange

promised a lot but delivered little, many things seemed "not quite right" about this place, there was a strange dearth of staff and thus guest cups, plates, cutlery, and towels were strewn all over the main "relaxation" areas by the pool, the cafe had very few staff and was eerily empty, the whole place was soiled / dirty, doors / door handles were dirty, cushions on the couches by the pool were stained, carpets tattered, cigarette butts were in places they shouldn't be. overall, disconcerting for the price!!!!

Great Honeymoon

We got a great deal on our room and the hotel was definitely worth the money. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful, the restaurant had great food and we attended a free wine class and tasting put on by the hotel which was a treat!

Great weekend!

My wife and I stayed here for our 1 yr anniversary and the rooms were nice and comfortable, everyone was very nice and helpfull, and the location is great. The only reason I did not give them 5 stars is because the room service was not that great.

Another great stay

My wife and I have stayed at The Lodge three times in the past year. Each time, we have had a great stay. The location is close to the Sonoma square. The facilities are pretty standard, but the rooms are comfortable and the service has been excellent.

great value - a little far from Napa

hotel was great - clean, friendly, good restaurant and a good value. Doesn't have the atmosphere of the Napa or downtown Sonoma hotels and it's a little far from the wineries in Napa.

a little out of the way for Napa, but if you don't mind a 15 minute drive to the wineries, it's a great value.
