Kronborg Inn

the hotel was very nice and clean. The breakfast was more than expected. Great location . My only disappointment was unthinking guests swimming loudly @ 1:30 am.

Quaint at a great value and nice rooms. The rooms have been remodeled so the quality of furniture and decorations are high. Every room includes a spa bath. Inn offers a basic breakfast but skip it and go to the local bakeries.

We checked it late, they upgraded us to the master sweet for free since we were only staying for one night. Great customer care service and it was great location.

Hotel looked old from the outside. I got nervous. But was I pleasantly surprised! The inside had 2 Queen beds, beds were very comfortable, lots of fluffy pillows, very clean with a jacuzzi tub,mini fridge, microwave and coffemaker. Even had a mini terrace, overlooking pool. I would definitely stay here again!

NOT GOOD AT ALL!! Even from the UNFRIENDLY STAFF @ check-in, Nancy, who would not even consider accomodating us---we asked to use facility as we had driven for hours---just told ---don't have any and that was it. Unkempt place. Place is NEGLECTED---THE COMMON AREAS ARE DIRTY, GARBAGE OVERFLOWING, NOT ENOUGH STAFF AND ALSO A TOTAL LACK OF INDIFFERENCE AND NEGLECT. IN SUCH A QUAINT TOWN, THAT HAS MANY VACANCIES, THIS EXTREMELY POOR, ALMOST NON-EXISTANT CUSTOMER SERVICE CAN'T BE TOLERATED. WOULD LIKE TO HEAR BACK FROM THE MANAGER OR OWNER, SINCE I DEFINITELY OVERPAID FOR THIS STAY!!

Short stay with family. Came up the morning of one day and visited shops in the afternoon, stayed the nite at the Inn. Nice pool and even nicer hot tub! Everything near by and was able to visit the town the next day. Nice to have the breakfast included too. thanks!

great little get away to relax. Hotel was clean, comfortable, descent and everything is near. We enjoyed the caino which was 10 min. away. only bad thing shops close early around 6pm. would definitely stay here again.

This was the first leg of a two week trip through the California coast line and the Pacific Northwest. We arrived in the afternoon and as we opened the door to our room we both stood in the doorway and were amazed at how modern and clean the room was. It was a beautiful room and a great experience, we will certainly be staying at the Kronborg Inn again.

Stayed at the Kronborg Inn in Solvang and will stay there again. A walk away from EVERYTHING! Born and raised in Southern California and my first time there at 33 years old. A beautiful hidden jewel in California. We originally were going to make it a day trip from LA, but decided to budget in $100 for a hotel. I spent 3 hrs researching the best deals on hotels and weighing wether we wanted to spend a little more for a hotel that's been remodeled or one of the cheaper hotels that still have the 1980's comforter. HONESTLY, I was a little worried because a couple different websites had those old pictures of the rooms mixed in with the new of the Kronborg Inn. FREE WiFi and Continental Breakfast are a PLUS!

A few things dampened the stay. The landscaping was freshly manured and it stayed in your nose, the spa had algae and debris and the pool area had soil from the landscaping, the Internet in the lobby pc took you nowhere and when brought to the front desk's attention, they displayed little interest and did not seem to care, the same person when checking the breakfast area, put their foot on a chair cushion and tied their shoe laces, finally you could not get the ceiling fan to stop. The room was comfortable and well furnished but the hotel exterior is generally bland and the ambience is impersonal.
