Holiday Inn Express
The location was good- close enough for getting to the shops-beds were very uncomfortable( for the price we paid,) about $200.00 a night, i think the beds should have been more comfortable- not sagging; not good if you have back problems. Amenities- no microwave in the room, bathroom very small. but great amount of free parking, and complimentary breakfast was great.. Eggs, pancakes, cereal, yogurt, danish, bagels, juice, and coffee- just like going out- Staff was pleasant- and very helpful. Would not stay again because if you have to cancel, they do not refund your money-

Exactly what I expected from Holiday Inn
Decent room with decent price. Nothing luxurious but clean and smell free! Great various breakfast selections from eggs, bacon, biscuit, gravy, cinnamon rolls, and other continental breakfast.

It's a good place to stay
I chose this hotel for the convenient location and the reasonable rate. It's located right next to the main area of the town. The hotel faces the busy main street, Mission drive. We didn't have a street noise problem since our room was facing away from the street, but I was wondering how the noise would be if the room was facing the street. The room was roomy and clean, equipped with small refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. I noticed a small gap on tiles at a corner of the shower, and the lighting over the vanity mirror at the sink was rather dark, but otherwise everything else was in a good shape. The free continental breakfast they offer was ordinary. The coffee could be a little stronger.

Very Good Stay
We took a tour of the mission, went wine tasting, ate out and visited the Thomas Kinkade Art Gallery. This trip was more enjoyable than past trips, because we were there to just relax. The last time I was there, was when my daughter graduated from UCSB and it was more hectic.

Not what we had asked for
They placed us in a room with only one bed, after we had requested two on the package. The hotel was completely full when we got there, so we had no other room options, so three people had to make do with what they gave us. They said they would bring up a couch bed/ cot that turned out to be old, and lumpy not allowing anyone to get any sleep at all on the horrible thing.
