Easy Access to Malibu

My boyfriend and I stayed here because it was too expensive to stay any closer to Malibu. We were able to get to Malibu beaches in about 40 minutes with a beautiful drive through the mountains and Munholland Highway. I wouldn't stay here if you don't have a car. Doesn't seem like there is too much around. The rooms themselves could use some updating, but the outdoor area with the pool was beautiful. We ate at the on-site Arena Bar and Grill and it was okay. The inside is gross, but the outdoor seating has a nice view. You order your food at the bar so it wasn't full service. The food was okay but not great. The hotel was a good stopping point for us from Santa Barbara to Malibu and I would recommend it to someone doing the same.

Great Location

Great location. Just off the freeway, but not close enough to hear freeway noise. Room could've been cleaner and overall hotel needs some updating.
