Housekeeping needs some training

The first thing I noticed when I arrived in my room was the overlooked filth of the bathroom. There was dried blood on the base of the toilet, boogers on the wall behind the toilet and the tile floor was sticky. Upon leaving the room, I looked under the bed to make sure we hadn't lost anything. The carpet under the bed was dirty with trash and food as well as some previous guest's dirty socks.

Decent handicap room

The breakfasts used to be decent but they went downhill. This time they did have a mini waffle maker, which is an improvement.

Nice, but needs some help..

Front desk nice and helpful. No towels in room had to go down to Lobby to get our own towels. There was no other staff on site other than hotel lobby, therefor they could not leave the front desk unattended. Room next to ours was extremely loud, fighting and cursing all night. To the point where me and my son were scared. We called down to the front desk to complain. They did come up, but it did not extinguish the fighting. It continued through the morning. I explained our situation in the morning to the hotel staff when checking out, all they said was sorry. Didn't offer any sort of compensation. Hospitality needs some improvement. Room was nice and clean.

Sightseeing tip: Short drive from hotel

The Ronald Reagan Presidential Library. At 1st had no interest in going to it, but got lost one night and saw the library from the west side on the mountain. Just the view of it (then seeing the old Air Force One in this building, on top of a mountain). I just wanted to see one of the last 707.

Just okay

For a one night stay this hotel was just okay. Bathroom door closed automatically and no fan, so ventilation after shower wasn't good. Seemed a bit musty. Overall the room was clean. I stayed on the second floor and could hear people walking around in the room above. When in the bathroom, could hear the people next to me when they ran the sinker flushed the toilet. Wouldn't stay there agin.

Not what i expected

Room was a not at all what i expected. It was very small and cramped, there was no ventilation, it was a little outdated, there was a continental breakfast included but not if you booked online, a little expensive for what i got.

Simi Valley

This hotel is in dire need of updating. The room furniture is worn as well as the carpet and the bathrooms need total updating. The lobby is nice and the hotel staff are friendly. We stayed here as the location was close to family we were visiting...but will not stay here again unless they note a renovation has occurred.

less than average hotel

At check in the hotel clerk was very curt. Then if you had multiple bags you had to struggle from the inconvenient parking lot in front to your room, in which mine was on the second level. The room it self was old and needed many improvements. There was a moldy shower mat, broken towel rack, broken tv cabinet. Also if you wanted ice for your room it was a walk around the hotel. Although the hotel was no gem the hotel bar "Arena" was fun. The staff was very nice and more than willing to accomodate. 5 stars for the Arena, but only 2 for the hotel.
