Not bad

Overall, the hotel was decent. The location was excellent: right off the freeway, 5-10 minute walk to good restaurants and shopping center. The hotel was very quiet. The only thing I had a problem with was the "old room" smell, however, turning on the air conditioning lessened the odor. Also, just f.y.i, it was cheaper buying the room through the hotel. For a king deluxe room, it was only $60/night, compared to Orbitz's price of approx $71/night. The twin bed room is $70/night, compared to Orbitz $71.

One night stay

This hotel is nice and the price is great. We brought down an enclosed trailer and was able to drop it off at the hotel before going to a Dodger game.

Nice Place

The GrandView is a great little hotel. No complaints about anything but the hot tub; it was a little swampy.

Great Location

Grand Vista Hotel is located right off the freeway-- and right next to all the new shopping centers. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Pool area is beautiful and relaxing. Adjoining dining is in walking distance and well as in the hotel too!

Comfortable stay

The staff was very gracious and friendly. They even printed out directions to a Catholic Church. The rooms were comfortable and the bed was firm. I really enjoyed the sleep I needed.

Dining tip: Short drive from hotel

There are shopping centers, resturants, movie theaters close to the Grand Vista Hotel. The town of Simi Valley is very friendly and it was a pleasure to feel at ease with the people and community.

Perfect for what we needed.

Had a Wedding in town, and this was the cheapest hotel in the area. Hotel was nice. Rooms had a fridge and microwave in them. We did'nt use them, but it was nice that they were available. We only used the room to get ready in and sleep in, so we werent at the Hotel Much. Great Price. We even got a Price Assurance Back. It Really Works WOW!
