More Bang for my Buck!
The Grand Hotel was easy to find, at a great location, across from shopping and resturants. Its was free to get into the club next door which had live music. The welcome was beautiful with an amazing entrance and wonderful staff at check in and out. The room was spacious with the most comfortable pillows we've ever laid our heads on. It didn't take much time to get to our destination of Six Flags Magic Mountain the next morning, and with friends living in the area, I know we will visit this hotel again!

Affordable California Classic
The Grand Vista made me feel like I was a successful citizen traveling like a grownup, not a kid looking for a cheap place to flop. The pool area and surround were charming with the palm and fountain giving it a almost tropical flair. The room was clean, modern, and well laid out. One complaint I have is that the television was quite limited in the cable channels it offered. The hotel was right off the interstate and right on a main artery of town and getting around was incredibly convenient.

Great Hotel for Less Than $100/Night!
Although, it was clear that this was no modern hotel, it was very clean and the rooms were spacious. The remodeled bathrooms and new paint reflected care and focused customer satisfaction. We can't all afford the plush hotels that cost $150 - $300 a night. So for us low-to mid- income folk, the Grand Vista Hotel located in a very nice, safe Simi Valley area is a spectacular deal! I would only recommend a few more upgrades to the rooms (nicer desk and side chairs, repaired wall units) and reducing the price of the continental breakfast (toast, fruit, and juice/coffee, which is not delivered to the room) from $7.95 to $4.95. Other than that,I really enjoyed my stay.

Nice Breakaway Place to Stay
This hotel is far from the maddening traffic of the LA basin with a quiet atmosphere and reasonably close to most of the LA sights like Universal Studios and Magic Mountain. Rooms comfortable, good value for the money.

Excellent location
Location right-off 210, convenient to Reagan Library, with excellent dining options in/nearby and available internet service was helpful to me. All other aspects (e.g. service, cleanliness, amenities) were without fault.

Very nice place to stay in Simi
The Grand Vista was a pleasant overnight stay. It is a very nice upscale hotel in an area convenient to shopping, food and the freeway (118). You can be in Malibu in about 30 minutes. At the Reagan Library in 10 minutes or less. If you stay here, try to get a room on the west end of the Hotel. The bar is on the east end and it REALLY does a big business on the weekends. The parking lot wsa absolutely full till about 2am. I'd stay here again. One thing I didn't care for was the auto-closer on the bathroom door. Seems they could just remove that door permanently.

Grand Vista
