Get a Great Night's Sleep - NO NOISE

We had to make a "last minute" unplanned trip to Simi Valley and were very pleansantly surprised at finding such a "first class" hotel. The hotel is not on a busy street or by the freeway and every room would be quite and pleasant. The rooms were very clean and spacy. Nice restaurant and Sports Bar. I would definitely recommend to others.

A very nice restaurant in the hotel, plus two (Not expensive) restaurants - about 2 miles. Also a fast food within walking distance.

Not what I had hoped for

The room was fair at best. There was a hole in my sheets. The room was very outdated. The sofa was stained, and there were spots in the carpet. It even smelled funny. Late at night, there was so much noise coming from the room next door, the room above, and the hallway, that sleeping was not an option until very late. I was terribly disappointed. I once again have learned that you get what you pay for.

Great place to stay

Customer service at its best!!! The room door was squeaky when I opened it, there was an employee walking by and made note of it. When I got back to the room one hour later the squeak was gone. They gave me free breakfast.

Perfect price better hotel

We were visiting Ventura, Malibu and Santa Barbara during Labor day and we stayed at this hotel, so the location was perfect for us. It resulted relatively cheap in comparison to other hotels/motels at Simi Valley area. Also I'd like to say that there was a Mall (Starbucks, California Pizza Kitchen and more). However, the disco-sport bar was a little crazy for me, so noisy...maybe my age ;P

Great location! Amazing accomodations!

We visited with our grandchildren, played in the beautiful pool, and enjoyed a delicious continental breakfast. And they allowed us to check in early.

Just OK

The Hotel was in a perfect location for everything you could want to do in the LA, Hollywood, Malibu, Santa Monica, Venice Beach areas. All within driving distance without the hassle of downtown LA. On the down side the bathrooms were not updated like the picture on the website advertised. The pool and hot tub looked so dirty we didnt even try to get in them but that could be due to the brush fires and ash falling.

Not bad

Overall, the hotel was decent. The location was excellent: right off the freeway, 5-10 minute walk to good restaurants and shopping center. The hotel was very quiet. The only thing I had a problem with was the "old room" smell, however, turning on the air conditioning lessened the odor. Also, just f.y.i, it was cheaper buying the room through the hotel. For a king deluxe room, it was only $60/night, compared to Orbitz's price of approx $71/night. The twin bed room is $70/night, compared to Orbitz $71.
