Excellent for Santa Ynez touring
Very well run establishment. Comfortable, clean, well appointed room. Superb breakfast. Excellent location for touring the Santa Ynez Valley. We rented bikes and the bike rental company was right across the street! Trattoria Grappolo was just down the street and very good.

Great Service
The Manager of this hotel understands customer service. I can't say enough, but they will do anything to make your visit enjoyable. From unsoliced vouchers for wine tasting to finding me another hotel when I showed up a week early. I wouldn't hesitate to go back again.

Very accomodating staff!!
This was me & my husband's first trip without children in 3 and a half years! We wanted a romantic & peaceful place in the wine country & that is exactly what we found. Upon arrival, we were greeted by [...], who was wonderful, friendly & accomodating. [...] showed us to our room, then made our dinner reservations & showed us to the complimentary wine & cheese selection by the fireplace. Dinner was great & we settled into our room afterwards with a complimentary DVD from their extensive DVD library. The next day, we both got massages & [...] was kind enough to allow us late check-out so that we could relax further. The gourmet breakfast was delicious & we could not have been happier.

New Orleanian at heart
Classic Inn Modernized
A classic Victorian inn with all the modern conveniences. Huge, comfortable room. The wine and cheese reception and the breakfast were both excellent. The location is convenient to Solvang (but in far less crowded Santa Ynez) as well as to the nearby wineries.

Small Family Reunion
[...] and the whole staff were friendly and went out of their way to make our stay truly memorable. The breakfast included, was delectable with so many choices, as were the wine and hors d'oeuvres and the evening desserts. With the complimentary wine tastings and free play at the Casino, there was nothing that would have made our stay more enjoyable! The room was absolutely beautiful with Fireplace,music,flat screen TV, and Bathroom with steam shower, rainfall shower, jacuzzi whirlpool tub,heated marble floors- nothing less than Opulent!
