great for business travelers.
I had suite, and it was great to have an entire kitchen area in addition to the bedroom. The only thing that was odd was the location of the television. It was definitley viewable from everywhere in the hotel room, but it was up very high. Not a bad location, it was just somewhat strange. They had a great free breakfast in the morning, which is always a plus. The location was ok; somewhat isolated part of Santa Rosa. I got in late, so I didn't eat in the area. I have no idea what restaraunts are around, so if you want to eat, you might have to drive a distance.

five stars for the staff and hotel
This hotel is not the Hlton Hotel. When I read some of the other reviews of the hotel, I believe people have too high expectations for the price range. This is an inexpensive hotel with clan, quiet rooms and a very helpful staff. Pay a little extra and get the bigger rooms with two queen beds. They are worth the few bucks more.

Great value for the price!
Quiet, restful, good Mexican carryout restaurant a block north. Wheelchair room, very convenient and well laid out. Staff friendly and helpful. Comp breakfast generic, but good. Clean and well kept. Not down town, but if you're looking for a place close to 101 and easy to find, it's great.

Lots to see and do in Santa Rosa, as well as the short drive up 101 to the Healdsburg wine country.

Clean room and beds, nothing more.
This Quality inn at Santa Rosa was okay and if you are planning on being there just to sleep, then this place may do just fine. Continental breakfast is the only amenity. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. If noise bothers you, make sure to ask for a room either upstairs or away from the road. After my first night there, I asked to move to a different room for that reason and also because the toilet was running and there were some ants in the bathroom. My new room was quieter and ant free, albeit smaller than my original room.

Not Applicable
Be mindfull that there aren't any good restaurants within walking distance (other than a couple of dives, a Mexican food and a pancake place), so you will have to drive to find a good place. I visited the Mexican food just north of the hotel and my advice is stay away.

Nice basic hotel
We were there for a birthday getaway. It was a nice basic hotel. Clean with decent service. Given the costs of hotels in the area it was reasonable for the accomodations. The location was a bit out of the heart of town but not so far that it was inconvenient.

Very Clean room
This was a very clean room, and in a good location. My only complaint was that it was a bit small. The walls were a bit then as well, the people next to us had a baby and we could hear the baby crying, it was ok though since we had our 2 yr old with us as well. They provided a great continental breakfast.

Wine Country Clean & Competent
Motel is nothing special but provides a competent, clean room for a good price. Centrally located near wine country with a nearby shopping mall full of restaurants. TV controller was horrible and took several trips to the front desk to get it to work. Needs TV and/or newspapers in breakfast room. Front desk was big help.

Good location and price
I have stayed in this hotel twice because it's conveniently located to the 101 and nearby restaurants. The staff is pleasant and rooms were clean though noise from the hallway, upper floor and other rooms was a real problem, especially on the weekend. On this most recent visit, my room was next to the conference/breakfast room. Not a good thing! Enjoy the clean rooms but bring your ear plugs.

Within a few blocks drive (near the 101 N/S ramps) are several moderately-priced restaurants (Appleby's, Chubbie's, Starbucks).

Decent, but good for the price.
Well the hotel itself is a decent hotel in line with others in this chain. The free breakfast helps make the day start easier with our 2 yr old daughter. The location isn't awesome with a trailer park, some strip malls, and such nearby, but 1) it's Santa Rosa after all, and 2) it's a 'value' chain. The AC in our room didn't work, but they moved us as soon as we let them know, and they only had 2 cribs, both checked out despite my reserving one so we had to go to the store and buy a pack & play (Toys R US about 6 blocks away). The stafff was super helpful but had limited resources.

Tex Wasabi's on 4th Street has a pretty unique menu (sushi and bbq) and is owned by Guy Fieri of the Food Network. We liked everything we had there.
