Country Inn

We need a nice clean room to sleep in & not be disturbed. Everybody is nice & friendly & we enjoyed our stay.

On a recent roadtrip we stayed in 12 different hotels in 12 days. This one ranked 12th. We arrived late and the hotel lobby was locked. Found a button to push that called the manager & he was kind enough to check us in after a little scare that we would be sleeping in our car (though he never opened the lobby & made us stand in the rain to pay through a slot. The previous reviews were way off (this place hadn't been reviewed in 2 years on this site, which is why I feel compelled to write a review). In case it isn't clear in the description, this is a motel w/ no breakfast or amenities. The room was old & run down, which was fine as we just needed a place to sleep, but the floor was wet (by the front door and by the bathroom). Not sure if it was a leak from the plumbing, or because it had rained a little. We are not picky, so we looked past it, but we were annoyed as the motel is overpriced - we stayed in places twice as nice for half the cost many times during our trip. What really tipped us past the breaking point is that the sink was full & didn't drain. Clearly they didn't clean the room before our arrival (at least not the bathroom). We couldn't brush our teeth in the morning, which is surprisingly annoying. When we turned our keys in, we let them know, but they didn't seem to care much - I'm sure they tried to fix it, but they never apologized or offered a refund.

Clean room. Good value motel. Would stay there again.

I arrived late and was quickly checked in. The hotel is older but in excellent condition. Clean, everything worked, comfortable bed. Definitely would recommend.

Perfect location for our stay. Room had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable. All this at a resonable price!

We arrived in the evening, I'd not been feeling well all day and was afraid of what I would find in an inexpensive hotel....but much to my surprise it was wonderful. The check-in was easy and the room was very confortable and extremely clean. The bed was very comfortable, the room had a coffee maker, hair dryer, microwave and refrig. I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

The motel was very spartan. Clean, but quite simple and utilitarian. Two small pieces of soap in the bathroom, no kleenex, nothing else. The shower doors were old and corroded, the TV was bad, the color so far off that the 49ers uniforms showed up as blue and yellow instead of crimson and gold. When I complained, the manager tried to fix it, couldn't, and offered to move us to another room, which we accepted. TV color was better, but room was of same pedestrian quality. The lamp lights were too dim to read books or newspapers. Call this a basic, no frills, overnight place to sleep, about the level of Motel Six, maybe a cut below.

Our mini vacation was to taste some of the best wines Sonoma has to offer. We spent more that 4 hours at Sonoma Cellars. It was only 1 1/2 miles from the Country Inn. There are so many great restaurants to enjoy in the beautiful Down Town. Very friendly people and staff where every we visited. It was a great weekend!!!

The room was nice and quiet, single floor (loved that)with plenty of restaurants and shopping in easy walking distance but the lights outside kept the room lit all night. No useful electrical outlets for computer/cell phone charger.

This is an older motel but was comfortable and quiet.
