We were skeptical when first driving up because it was an older hotel but had a very good rating and reviews. Entering the room we were very happy. Clean, comfortable, quiet, and spacious. The real gem here is the Garden Café that serves breakfast 6:30am to 11:00am with nothing more than $6.75 is probably the best value in California. Don't order a lot because the servings are generous.

Clean and Comfortable
Here for a business trip. Good location and a comfortable room. The bed was good, not too soft and not too hard. Inexpensive in comparison to other hotels in the area, and convenient to many locations in Santa Rosa.

Barely adequate
I stayed here for 4 nights; I paid about $85/night. This is a motor inn type property. Pros: easy access to the freeway fridge and microwave fast free internet comfortable bed Cons: noisy pool is a joke - not usable no exercise facility poor climate control - you either freeze or boil as there is not thermostat, just a large wall unit that either blows hot or cold all night. musty smell in the room although there is a table and chair in the room, it cannot be used as a desk

Better than expected
After reading all of the previous reviews, I felt confident that I would have no complaints. I can honestly say this place is great. The staff is wonderful, and the room is very comfortable.

it you book on line for business hotel won't give you receipt
The hotel would not give me a receipt stating that they only get paid by the travel on line servie. So I can't get reimbursed for my trip because the hotel would not give me a receipt don't stay there if you book on line. The other hotel I booked the next night on line was happy to give me a receipt

Worth every penny
Arrived at 11 am, well before offciail checkin, they gave me internet passwords, checked my email on my laptop in the car in the parking lot, they recommeded three good resturants downtown while I waited, they called my cell when room was ready, before noon. Room was spaciious, very ,very clean, on site cafe served a good breakfast at a reasonable price, room was quiet, AC worked well, would stay there again.

Nice room
Nice room, bed was comfortable for me I slept very well, my husband didn't seem to sleep too well, but that might be because he was thing about the long drive the next day. My only complaint is that the toilet didn't have very much space in front of it so it was hard for us elderly folk to get up. The shower was very nice. This would be a nice place for families with children, because they have a nice pool.

Great Overnight Stay
I was fortunate with room I got. It was a single level where I could park right in front of my door. No strange odors or critters to deal with; it was non-smoking room. The bed was comfortable and everything worked great in the room. Microwave and fridge which came in handy. I would definitely stay there again. The hotel staff was friendly also. The only thing which was minor was the shower door was close to toilet.
