Americas Best Value Inn

I was in Santa Rosa for a wedding and just needed a place to sleep. I didn't need a pool or lounge or anything, but still this place was below par. When I arrived, the parking lot was empty, except for a few broken tv's outside the hotel rooms, and the place looked run down. I went to the lobby to see about cancelling my reservation. It was around 1pm, and the lobby was locked with no one around. I banged on the door, and some guy on a bluetooth eventually let me in. He was impolite and even stayed on his call while talking with me. I was told I couldn't cancel, as expected, and I learned I couldn't even have any guests over at anytime. I decided to deal with it. After the wedding though, my roomate and I decided this hotel wasn't even worth staying at for a night, even though we'd already paid, and drove the three hours home.

Only stayed one nite while visiting family in area for Thanksgiving...was decent motel for great price.. and location was perfect for shopping,

The America's Best Value hotels are very barebones, but they are very inexpensive and worth the price. The Santa Rosa one was clean, warm, and convenient on a holiday night. They have a Values Club that allows you to save more $$, and they are a national group.

Would be better with coffee maker in room as the continental breakfast was in the tiny registration office. Also, we were on 1st floor & it was very noisy above us, all 3 days we were there. Hot & cold water was reversed in shower & sink. Staff cleaned the room well.

We spent two nights. The room was at least average, a couple of steps above the low price leader for sure. I will give it a negative for the carpet, it was very dirty. Make sure you get a receipt. I was not offered one when I checked out and I did not remember to ask. The motel is convienent to many areas of Santa Rosa. We would stay there again.

Noisy room was located right near the stairway

We came for the Heart of Sonoma Valley Barrel Tasting event. Great event; terrible hotel! It was raining and the stairs were not covered. The lobby smelled really gross, and the rooms were in need of repair. The sink faucet was broken, the towel bar was hanging by one screw and the door to the room would not shut all the way so there was a draft all night. Terrible experience, but I guess we got what we paid for. We will definitely pay a little more next time to get better accomodations.

My stay there was okay; but nothing more than that. The location is on Santa Rosa Avenue, right next to a major shopping mall, and the entrance is easy to miss. The good side was that the room was clean, and the bed was comfortable, a plus. There wasn't much in the way of amenities, and the room was cold. I tried several times to adjust the thermostat; no luck. Recommendation: business traveler on a tight budget. Overall grade, C-.

I'd Call this a decent 2 star motel Even though it was listed as having 3 stars. Front desk service was adequate. The room was very average with lights the didn't function properly and old comforters. The sheets were clean and we slept well.

Rooms were clean and very adequate. The location was convenient to the freeway, yet was quiet. Continental breakfast was a weak (packaged muffins, frosted cereal, coffee,bananas one day but not the second)Good overall value for the $$.
