Great hotel in Santa Monica

I live in Santa Monica for 3 years and I really enjoy Santa Monica beach. The location is great, hotel is brand new and clean, can not compliant for anything about hotel. Parking fee is 30 dollars total no matter how many days you stay, it is fare for the location.

Romantic getaway

Everything was great EXCEPT parking which They charge you with no warning. Check in was horrible we waited 30 min to get checked in and that was after complaining because they told us we couldn't check in till 3 pm even though the confirmation email said we could check in at 2pm they offered us upgrade but we would have to pay an additional 50 dollars.

Beautiful Hotel and Location, Terrible Staffing.

Bellman and front desk staff have no idea of what they are doing. They hired a bunch of rookies with little experience, couldn't answer simple questions. Parking here is confusing. Just tell them you are self-parking, valet is a waste of money as it's in the same area. Rooms are beautiful and the hotel itself is in a great location. No food services here yet however across the street is 3rd street Promenade and a mall. I would stay here only if they hired some professional staff.

Great hotel, in a great location

This hotel is brand new. Situated right on the shore, and one block away from the 3rd street shopping area, it is in the perfect location. We got a room with ocean view, which was really a partial view of the ocean, and part of the pool. Good enough. The pool is heated, and we used it even it was the middle of December, and enjoyed it. Parking is extra. ($30). Rooms are spacious. We got a two queen bed, and there was a lot space. Bathrooms were very modern. Overall it was an good experience. While not cheap, it was worth it.

“Luxury Hotel Without The Attitude - Premier Location & Excellent Staff”

Shore Hotel is at the top of my list of luxury hotels I've stayed in all over the world. Located across the street from the beach on Ocean Avenue, this hip boutique hotel provides breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean and Santa Monica Pier, while within walking distance of several restaurants, Santa Monica Place Shopping Center and Third Street Promenade. The staff was more than welcoming and accommodating when I arrived for check-in - quick, friendly and helpful. Jim from Ohio was a stand-out staff member to me, providing customer service that went above and beyond the call of duty and my expectations. The "Green" environment is an excellent principle of the hotel, showing me that The Shore not only cares about their guests, but their effect on the world. I expect the Shore Hotel to be THE destination in Santa Monica in the very near future.
