Great service
Spent two nights around New Years. Very friendly, accommodating staff. Lounge had amazing Cajun calamari. Only gripe is that it's location is a bit of a walk from the more lively areas in town. Would stay here again.

Great quick stop
The Sheraton delfina was the perfect stop for our last night in LA. The staff was super friendly ( especially DJ, at the front desk) and the hotel had everything we needed: location, a swell pool, easy parking and a pretty good view too.

sheraton hotel at santa monica
i like the hotel but i didn't like it's location if it was closer to the beach it would be much better. comparing other sheraton hotels, this hotel's rooms were old .

Not worth the price of admission
At over $300 a night the Sheraton Delfina was a huge disappointment; small swimming pool, a good distance away from the beach, peeling paint in the door frame of the bathroom, staff not answering phones, "ocean view" means you must have a telescope, no snacks/refrigerator in the room, too far away from shopping/restaurants.

Dark dingy next to low income housing, TINY 1960's size bathrooms
Your. Rating is WAY too generous. Dark small hallways. Slow or nonoperating elevators. Next to low income housing, and that was your view. Looking down was a gutted out pool with yellow tape, looked like a crime scene. The windows of the adjacent apartments were torn drapes and blinds and balconies had broken outdoor furniture and barbecues. The restaurant and bar were nice, but not enough to overcome the negatives.

Good solid hotel for business travel
I had a good experience here. The staff was friendly and courteous. Room service was prompt. My room was quiet. The business center is centrally located with free computers and printing. I will stay here for my next visit.

Very disappointing.
Complete lack of amenities. No guest shop for any toiletries. Restaurants were none existent. The 'lobby bar cafe' was a joke. No service, very limited menu. Bartender was also the waiter. Room service was very good and about the only way to get anything to eat. Andy the head of Valet parking was great. He was the best thing about this Sheridan.

not that great
the hotel location is not that great, specially at night, it is a dark area and bit far from the main activities. In the room the walls are very thin, you can hear everything people are saying in the other room, everything... And they have room that are sharing a wall with the elevator so everything is shaking each time somebody takes the elevator which happens often...

Bed good, price ridiculous!
While I appreciate that being by the beach instantly increases price, this hotel was way over priced... The carpet and walls were dingy and buckling. The furniture (esp. by the pool) was rotted and rusty. Sheraton does well by the bed (really good) but I guess that was what they did to make up for the mediocre rest of the space.
