beach view??
As far a beach view goes if you count a view of the other buildings and parking lot beach view then here you go. upon check in I was informed there was a parking fee seems too much for a registered guess but fine but then mistakingly charge my card for hundreds even though it was for a prepaid room!!! and then just say sorry it should be reimbursed in a few days really! ! they should seriously get it together for a not cheap hotel.

Good location
The hotel was clean and very well located, across from the Santa Monica Pier and beach, and just a couple of blocks from a nice shopping and dining area. The lobby of the hotel was spacious and the staff was friendly. The room was clean, with a comfortable desk at one end and a large bathroom at the other. Overall, the hotel felt cramped and oddly-shaped with zig-zag hallways and long, narrow rooms. The u-shape of the building meant most rooms looked into one another, and overlooked the parking area. No stairway access was available from the lobby to the rooms.

Ok, for a place to stay
A little old... Needs new mattresses could use some updating. But all in all not too bad, but not great.

Ocean View is AWESOME
It was very nice. The only small problem I had was one lady at the front desk was not very patient. Other than that, I had a wonderful stay!

VERY CLEAN AND GOOD STAFF
THIS HAD UNDERGROUND SAFE PARKING FOR AN EXPENSIVE CAR..STAFF VERY FRIENDLY..ROOMS VERY CLEAN...GOOD MAID SERVICE..COULD WALK TO ALL THE ACTION WITHOUT NEEDING THE CAR...WOULD STAY THERE AGAIN...GOOD VALUE WITH A SEA VIEW

Fantastic location and staff
Stayed here for 1 night. Check in was smooth and they let me check in early! Received a room on 4thfloor overlooking the pier & beach. For the price it's a GREAT location and amazing staff. When walking in or out of hotel they would greet you w/a smile. Shopping, Dining, Nightlife & Recretation are all within walking distance!

The hotel is onlder with simple furniture. The carpet was new and clean. If you are looking for plush and fancy, then pay more money. This one was clean but simple. Is close to pier/ocean.

Awesome location
Definitely get the ocean side room. The view is fantastic. Do not get the city side unless you don't mind a view of the water heater. We were able to walk easily to the 3rd street promenade, the Santa Monica pier, the beach, Palisades Park and Venice. This hotel is so close to so much that we didn't mind there was no continental breakfast. We would definitely go back.

Would stay here again.
Great location, Nice staff. Would have been nice to have a mini fridge in room. Right near all the nightlife of santa monica. Great times were had.
