- King Bedded Suite with full gourmet kitchen, offers separate living and sleeping areas. Carrara marble bathrooms and living areas with a warm and stylish dcor which include hardwood floors, an Art Deco inspired sofa (some with sleeper sofas), coffee table, 42 inch flat panel TV's, high speed wireless, iPod docking station/alarm clock, and "cuisinette" dining area.

- King Bedded Suite with french doors leading to a terrace, offers a separate living, sleeping, and a full gourmet Kitchen. Hotel Shangri-la
Hotel was great and helpful, also the bed was so comfortable, i had a great night sleep!! Our next stop Santa Barbara, 4 star hotel, beds were not as comfortable, nor was the room as nice as the shangri-la

Major Disappointment
Hotel Shangri-La
We visited the Pacific Park Peir Santa Monica pier. We really enjoyed how nice the area location of the hotel was within walking distance to the pier.

Great Hotel
It was great, the staff was exceptional. The rooms were great, we had a production suite and it was awesome with a great view! On Sat. night the hotel was rowdy and loud, but the staff was very quick to apoligize and make it right :)

Short walk from hotel
Parking, park right behind the hotel at the lot and not valet. It will save you at least $20 plus a day.

The hotel was in a fantastic location,
The hotel was in a fantastic location, right across from Santa Monica beach and the pier, and on bus routes if you didn't have a car. A short walk to all the shops. A small complex renovated in the Art-deco style. All the staff were friendly, bed was very comfortable. Lovely pool area but being winter was too cold to use. Would be great to have coffee/tea facilities in the room, but seems to be normal for most hotels that we stayed in.

Unbeatable location for the price
It's a beautiful hotel with excellent service. We got a great rate because they are undergoing constuction on thier pool area and their restaurants weren't open. Both the pool and reastaurants looked like they were going to be really nice. You can't beat the views and location.

Shangri La
Everything about the hotel was fantastic. It will be even better when the pool area and restaurant renovation is complete. Hotel staff are extremely congenial and most accomodating.

Super Traveling Man
Very nice
Nice hotel! Very modern. Nice room. Great pool! They just finished a remodel so the place is very upscale and clean. Friendly staff, great door people, Very classy bar.

A gem in Santa Monica
Lovely boutique hotel right in Santa Monica one block from the beach. Lovely staff - very helpful and accommodating. The room was very clean and comfortable and well priced. Would recommend!

Shangri-La is awesome
My husband and I stayed in Hotel Shangri-La and attended the University of Alabama at Rose bowl. We had a wonderful time at this hotel. Our room had an ocean view with a king size bed with luxury down bedding. The Shangri-La breakfast is awesome. The hotel staff was very nice.
