Very Helpful and Good Location
It was my first trip to Santa Monica to visit my new distributor and I booked it at the last minute so I was a bit nervous but the hotel was good and my room was clean. The staff were very helpful also. It is pretty far from the boardwalk but definatly worth the price. Great for the rate.

Okay Overall but not very close to pier
We wanted to be close to the Santa Monica pier so since it is part of the title of the hotel we thought we'd be MUCH closer than we were. Other than that I was pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness of the room and was very happy with the breakfast. Not the fanciest of places for the price but it worked.

Not in walking distance to anything but CVS and McDonalds. You WILL be driving a bit to the mall or pier.

over night stay!
The location was good for the price. But the room was gross, wall paper coming off the walls, in bathroom black mold,wallpaper coming off the wall. I also got locked out of my room twice with there key card. There's no spa, pool was cold. The breakfast was good and just the right items.

Great stay in West L.A.
Room was very comfortable, clean and had the promised high-speed internet (you have to get a cable from the front desk, but not a big hassle). Nice pool and good pool towels available. The elevator was a little sketchy and the third floor ice machine didn't work (but the second floor machine did). Quiet room, and I appreciated it being non-smoking! Breakfast was good in the mornings, and the in-room coffee was nice.

Check out the Ye Olde King's Head restaurant in the Third Street Promenade! Ye Olde YUM! Wonderfully attentive British waitstaff and great food. English shop next door with teapots and other memorabilia.

Great place
Overall, the hotel was great! It is located near restaurants, pharmacy and a laundromat. The third street promenade is not too far from the hotel as is the beach. The staff was really helpful and our room was clean.

Great Location
The room was extremely clean and the air was clean smelling. It was orderly and th staff was extremely accomadating to us. Very comfortable. 2 nights. Very near Santa Monica pier and fine dining. Really enjoyable. Short walk to like IHOP. To RSVP room better to call hotel directly for cheaper price

Great value and decent rooms
Very conveniently located - a quick drive away from the pier and boardwalk, this is a great value hotel, with safe parking, good breakfast, decent sized rooms, and clean. We were looking for a place to only get some sleep after long days of touring around the city - and didn't find any cause for complaint.

The Santa Monica downtown is a 4-5 minute drive away, with very nice eateries, live music, street performers. Beverly Hills and Hollywood isn't too far away either at around 15-20 minutes drive away.

The hotel satisfied our needs
The hotel satisfied our needs quite well in most aspects. the only detail which i found a little misleading was the title as 'near the Pier' as i found it some distance but the public transport available was good so we found this acceptable. Thanks for your assistance..
