I stayed at this hotel on the way to go to Solvang from San Francisco. The hotel is cozy and has a good kitchen built-in!

Nice location, new looking room
It's a good size of hotel for one night stay if you are traveling between LA to San Francisco. The room is a decent size and has a kitchen with microwave, refrigrator and kitchen supplies you need for cooking!

We were there to attend a wedding. The hotal was very nice; clean, comfortable and quiet. We would stay there again. Only one thing we did miss was a pool. The kids would have enjoyed that.

Candlewood Suites are sweet!
We were visiting family for Thanksgiving and needed to stay close by. This was right off the highway with easy access. The room included a fully stocked kitchen with full-sized fridge. It even had a dishwasher! They charge an additional $75 if you have a pet, but that's good for 1-6 nights (not per night).Definitely worth it!

They had a little pantry on the ground floor stocked with various groceries. You could pay at the desk or charge to your room.

No-Hassle Stay & Great Price
Attending a wedding in Nipomo was made super easy with location of hotel right of the Hwy. Loved the super clean bathroom/shower & well stocked room with full-size frig.sink & mini stove plus all utensils, plates & silverware. Felt like a studio apartment and also very quiet for being near Hwy. Staff was super nice with check in/out a breeze. Will look to stay here again!

Used the courtesy internet at hotel to find a local church for Sunday service. Very helpful with map & driving directions. Didn't have to take our laptop with us. Thanks for a great stay, Candlewood Suites!

Great Disc Golf Getaway
The hotel is close to two awesome disc golf courses. We played several times while we stayed at the candlewood hotel. I really enjoyed the fact that we were able to cook breakfast and other things in our room which helped us to save time and money.

Really Liked the Facilities
Very comfortable bed. The bathroom was very clean. I liked the shower curtains--good idea to have none-hook curtain. One bad thing--there was a blood stain on the comforter.

Loved it!
We loved this hotel. We went for a wedding over 4th of July weekend. And we paid much less than most of our friends who stayed at other hotels and it was just as nice. We even got to use the hotel's grill on the 4th. The room was nice. It had a kitchen (built in stove top, sink, full fridge, and dishwasher in it, so we were able to cook some meals. I would definitely stay here again, especially for the price. The only reason why they didn't receive 5 stars is because there was not a pool. It would've been nice to take a swim while I was there.

Shopping tip:
Not Applicable
This hotel is pretty close to Pismo Beach and a few other cities. and Pismo Beach has an outlet mall. However, if you are a person who likes to shop, this is not the town for you. All they had was a few strip malls, the outlet in Pismo Beach and a swap meet in Nipomo. All of which were mediocre at best. You'd have a better time going wine tasting.

Chef Rick's restaurant had unique and excellent food. The area is also well known for it's wineries, which is why we traveled here.
