Awful experience, we feel completely ripped off
I have to say this is the worst motel experience I have ever had. We booked the stay for $88 dollars through this website, which we had previously trusted. We then discovered it was being advertised for $40 on other websites. When we demanded a refund from the hotel they showed us their receipt, and they were being paid $69 for our stay. So this website was taking a $20 dollar cut. Which would have been outrageous even if it was a pleasant hotel, but it was horrible. The front door was so insecure we moved the fridge to block it overnight. There were stains all over the carpet, holes in the curtains, and the furniture was so rickety we felt it might collapse any time. It was a very busy weekend and the hotel was struggling with much higher than usual traffic, but we would have done better to stay in our cars.
