Paradise Inn by the Beach

We were disgusted by this hotel. This is not even a 1 star hotel! The hotel is so tired that it should be knocked down! The rooms smelt and the beds were absolutely awful. We had to ask to be moved and had to accept the third room offered even though it was dreadful. To top it all up within 30 minutes of arriving there the tires on our car were slashed and the car scratched. The manager didn't want us to call the police. Thank God for his nephew who helped us out. We have never in all our life spent the night in such a dump. You should check your ratings before putting a 3 star on a hotel. This is minus 5 rather than a 3 rated hotel. The night we had to spend in this hotel put a terrible stain on an excellent trip.

Your description of the hotel was very misleading and outright wrong. There was neither a microwave nor a refrigerator in the room. The bathroom was old and dirty looking. If I had seen the hotel before, I would have never made a reservation there and pay an outrageous fee of $129 to stay in this dump! I.m very disappointed and I can't believe you charged $2 to make a reservation in this miserable hotel. You should take it off your list! Makes me think twice to make a reservation through you again.

From the moment we checked in I new it was a big mistake! But this was a last minute trip and i wanted to be close to the boardwalk! The check in clerk! RUDE! the room DISGUSTING!! I wouldnt recommend this place to my worst enemy! YUCK!

So whoever gave this hotel a 3 star has problems, the room was not very clean and need of an update, the sheets were at least clean (I think). The bathtub had water in it and was rusty, the door lock was broken so we had to use a key lock, not that big of a deal except the knob was installed poorly with a bunch of insulating foil that was also in the jam and should have been at the bottom because there was a huge gap between the door and the floor. Location was nice, a 5 or so minute walk to the board walk, and the clerk was pretty nice , though a bit hard to understand with his accent. The pool was in disarray as well but that might have been from it being the end of winter/ beginning of spring. Honestly if they put some work into this place it could be great because of the location, they were fully booked, so they get revenue but seem to neglect the place.

I paid $40 for this room. That's what I got. My location could not have been better. 2 minute walk to the board walk. Everything else. ... no. There was no phone. Three bathroom was horrible. There was blood on the wall and the tub was scary. For staying a night it was ok but longer than that no

Came in late and didnt stay long. Basically just a place to rest your head.

Check in was fine. The owner let us check in early for free. It was exactly what me and my boyfriend paid for...a cheap room walking distance to the boardwalk and and only a 3 minute drive to downtown. We would definitely grab a room here again for an overnighter. I definitely wouldn't stay for more than a night though.

Although the location is one of the best in the area, the hotel is in need of refurbishment. The rooms are rundown, the water was only lukewarm, and the heater was noisy and questionable as to safety. The nightstand is located directly in front of it and gets very hot when heat is on. Fortunately, we were able to stay warm with just blankets. However, the beds were comfortable and linens were clean.

Rooms are small and crowded, no clock, no phone book, tv worked sporadically, I would not recommend this place to anyone.

The Paradise Inn by the Beach was within walking distance to the beach/Boardwalk but for me that was the only plus. The room was clean but could use some refurbishing. The bed was too soft for us so my sleep wasn't very comfortable and besides having a mini fridge and a microwave, there were no other basic amenities like a telephone! Also, I paid for a King size bed and slept in a Queen size bed. This was a mom & pop operation that gave you the ability to have a place to sleep but that was about it. The value was not worth what was paid and had it not been for the fact that we had to be there, I would not stay here again.
