Everything was great. The staff were friendly & helpful, the rooms in excellent condition, and the morning breakfast was ample with plenty of choices. It's location near the major highways is a plus for those driving and wanting access to the wider Santa Cruz area.

Long walk from hotel
We visited family so had things to do during the day. I might not stay in this location if I was going to visit the sights and sounds of Santa Cruz. I might have picked something closer to the beach or boardwalk.

Very nice compared to competition
Had a good experience at this hotel, parking was a challenge though. Friendly staff and very clean rooms, but the bed was stiff enough to give you a painful back each morning. Do recommend though, very nice hotel.

Clean, fresh and new. Easy access off the highway.
The hotel was just perfect for one evening stay in Santa Cruz. Conveniently located off the highway, plenty of underground parking, although the spaces were vey small for our SUV. The room was very roomy, clean and even included 2 televisions. It looks like we got upgraded to a suite. Sweet!

The breakfast was excellent, great exercise room with big TV while jogging, good swimming pool. This a very well done hotel: clean, friendly staff; with very good extras. We really liked our stay and would recommend it with confidence.

Decent hotel - overpriced
I was visiting my son, who goes to college nearby and stayed in Santa Cruz for the summer. We did all the typical tourist things plus some hiking.

great room
pros. clean room, comfortable bed, good choice of pillows, right off the freeway, speedy and efficient front desk, very nice and accomodating staff, free parking, away from the boardwalk cons: not a neighborhood you would want to walk around at night, no place to put your toiletries in the shower, overall, i would go back to this hotel. good value for the money.
