Travelodge of Santa Clarita

During my stay here I had 2 friends join another friend and myself at our room. We were planning to take a taxi to another hotel near by and asked the front desk for assistance in doing so. The front desk clerk Sandy demanded the four of us to come to the front desk to talk to her. She immediately began yelling at us and threatening to call the police if my visitors did not leave. We are four people who behave and professional manner at all times. The only reason I booked this room was to assist my old high school in judging a speech and debate tournament. We were treated with disrespect throughout the exchange even after we offered to pay the fee it would cost to have two extra people stay the night, even though that was not our intent. When we questioned Sandy she then told everyone but myself they were trespassing and called the police. The two additional guests we in my room less than half an hour. We were not playing music, speaking loudly or being a nuisance in any way. At this point we decided to leave this hotel because of Sandy's irrational, unprofessional behavior. Upon our departure I asked if I would be refunded my nights stay to which she replied, no. She also charged my debit card a $100 incidental fee during all of this commotion when we'd left the room just as we found it. We will never visit this location again.

It needs more care about the instalations. Te head of the bed fell dow as I reclined on it.

Upon entering our room at approximately 12:30 AM, we saw several (4 or 5) cockroaches on crawling on the wall. Upon closer examination it was clear that there was a cockroach problem at this hotel. We immediately left the room with our belongings, went to the Denny's restaurant down the street and searched for another hotel. We ended up driving an additional 25 miles and stayed in a Holiday Inn off the 405 freeway.

I booked this hotel online because it was the closest hotel to Six Flags Magic Mountain i could find for the price! Now i dont expect first class service for the price i paid BUT i do expect quality service! That Being said, i asked for a non-smoking room and i got the opposite. The room smelled really bad and the sheets on the bed had cigaret burns and holes on them. There was an ironing board BUT no iron. The bath towels were smelly and old! If you are looking to stay here, do yourself a favor and dont. if i had know it was going to be that bad I would have paid a bit more money and stayed at a better hotel.!!!

Thank God we were only their one night. We were in the non-smoking section but still smelled smoke. The room had a smell to it. There was an ironing board but no iron, when the front desk was called about it one of us had to go get it. There were not enough face towels for the 3 of us and the hotel only had large towels left. It was just a place that I would not go again, you SURELY get what you pay for.

Most areas of the hotel saturated with cigarette smoke smell, although the non-smoking rooms were not too bad. The continental breakfast was primarily an afterthought (oh yeah, our hotel offers breakfast, we should put out something and we'll have to move in a few tables and chairs). I needed to go back to the lobby to get a room that was actually prepared for a guest. Could not shut the window completely allowing inordinate amount of noise from the busy street all night.

Very close to where I needed to be. Very good restaurant across street; excellent restaurant staff & service.

When we arrived at 8.00 pm we were told that we could not use the spa as it had been turned off. We had to remind the clerk that it was suppose to be open until 10.00pm and we would like to use it after traveling all day. At this point she agreed to turn it back on. The breakfast was meagre... the danish was stale ... the OJ was watered down... no jelly / jam or other spreads for toast. Regretably we had booked for 2 nights. We would not stay there again.

They kept the Jacuzzi open late for me.
