Good deal for that area
Marriott hotels in general have very good quality. This one had a pretty good deal in comparison to others in that area. Enjoyed the stay a lot.

Over nigh stay for company dinner
My company's annual dinner was held at Pedro's on Freedom Circle. I wanted a nearby place to stay after stuffing myself at the restaurant. Marriott's is staffed with very pleasant folks and the place is truly worth the price.

one night stay
I chose this hotel since it was very close to Great America for a family overnight stay. The staff was friendly & helpful, however there was confusion and inconsistency on how the hotel handled my promo through [...]. It left me feeling a little frustrated throughout my stay. We had a room with double beds, which was much smaller than other Marriot's I had stayed previously. The room was slightly dated and we had a faulty bathroom door. It seems the hotel caters to business travelers as those rooms are larger & updated. Restaurants were great & convenient & the pool/gym area was nice. I'd stay here again, but I'd probably stay in a suite next time.

Santa Clara Marriott Review
Spent most of the time near the waterfront, so didn't spend much time at the hotel. Check in was great.

Nice overnight stay......
loved the garden rooms.... quiet location. not too far from the convention center. shopping close by as well as dining. VERY NICE Starbucks on site. love the beds and bedding --- soooo cozy. Bathroom was a bit small --- but it looks like it was recently updated -- and very clean.

Short walk from hotel
couple of restaurants across the street... but if you are willing to drive 1/2 mile down Mission College there's a slew of other restaurants by the Theater
