Good for College Visit
my son and I spent a night while visiting Santa Clara University. It was exactly what we needed. Nice folks at the front desk, a soft bed, and a wake-up call. If he chooses to attend SC, it will likely be where I stay when I visit him.

the room was nice clean and roomy felt nict to be able to walk around the room rather than just foward food is average a bet pricy and the staff is top noch will go again

Super for Just Sleeping
We were really just here to sleep. The hotel looked really nice and it would've been fun to enjoy the pool and jacuzzi, but we only stayed one night. A continental breakfast would've also made it easier for us, and a better value.

Two room types, "Garden View" = motel 6
The "hotel" was not a hotel, but rather two different things. It had a hotel and a motel. Little did I know that I got booked into the "motel" portion. It is just like it sounds, similar to comfort inn, days inn, motel 6 or the like. Which is just fine, if that is what you are expecting. That wasn't what I was expecting since the Biltmore is listed as a 4* hotel overall, which I'm sure the tower rooms are. So be careful, the "Garden View" rooms are really a motel, and the tower rooms are the hotel rooms.

Not a 4-star hotel, but a good 3
[...]. The 'Garden' rooms are without an elevator and microwave costs extra and refrigerator costs extra. Both are essential when traveling with my 8 year old. No ice machine nearby - it had been removed because it needed repair. The beds are comfortable and the decor is acceptable.The bathroom was in need of a professional tile repair job.The next night, we were at the Hyatt in Santa Clara. And the Hyatt was wonderful.
