All-suite hotel close to the University of California, Santa Barbara
Pacifica Suites is located on beautifully landscaped grounds lined with apple trees and flowering gardens. The hotel is outside most of the bustle of the city, giving guests restful nights. An outdoor heated pool and whirlpool help guests decompress. The free cooked-to-order breakfast, airport shuttle, and weekday wine and cheese receptions keep guests returning. Great Family Hotel
This hotel was clean and the staff was great! It is in an obscur area, so don't plan on walking off the property to find anything to do. It was a great place to stay overnight on the way up north. The free hot breakfast was a great perk too! I would request to not face the freeway.

Beautiful landscape,great room
Relaxing, quiet; hotel staff helped with dinner reservations at a great on-the beach restaurant. Will stay there again.

In town for college visit. Large clean room. Breakfast was very good with multiple options. Local pizza place delivered to room after late night arrival. Room was a bit noisy from parking lot and rain dripping. Sink and good sized counter on outside of bathroom made it easier for two teenagers to get ready. Close and easy to get to UC Santa Barbara.

Long walk from hotel
I arrived at the Goleta Amtrak station on a Sunday afternoon. I walked to Pacifica Suites 1.9 miles an easy walk for me but for most I would recommend a taxi or the very convenient MTD bus. On weekdays Pacifica Suites has a shuttle service to and from the hotel. I love the breakfast service but would like the option of on site room service. Loved this hotel overall, though.

Beautiful property, nice big rooms.
About 5-8 miles from downtown, still a decent location. Rooms are pretty big, pet friendly, and nice attention to detail on the property. There's even a historic building that's pretty cool to walk through.

Great Place with the Amenities - Pricey
A very enjoyable stay while visitng our daughter at UCSB. Although pricey you get a great room (All suites and no Smoking). Our Dog was allowed ($20/night however), and we were located in a pet section of room (but no different from any other room). Rooms were quite nice and coffee in room was local and very good. The best part was the amenties, cooked to order full breakfasts each day (food was consistently good ); Each weekday evening from 5pm to 7pm free wine and snacks. Recommendation to the Hotel, locate some outside breakfast tables in sunny areas or allow eating in pool area. Also, Was Eco Friendly, but towels where continually exchanged out when we indicated not to. If you can afford the Hotel, it is very nice.

Sadly Disappointed
Be Prepared to Prove Pre-Payment!!!
While there were some problems early on--TV in the livingroom portion of our suite didn't work due to an outlet that had apparently been burned out--[...] They had taken a credit card for 'incidentals', so when I turned in the keys, I expected no further charges. I paid about $185 on [...] when I made the reservation. They charged me another approximately $140! And told me that [...] didn't charge until the reservation was completed. I knew that wasn't correct, so had to get on the computer and print a copy of what I had already paid, and call [...]. The hotel blamed everything on [...], saying that they hadn't received payment. It was a nightmare. I don't think I will ever stay there again, [...]
