Traveling to Spring Training

Comfortable and well-located hotel for this trip. This was our 3rd trip to Montecito for the purpose of dining at our favorite restaurant, Trattoria Mollie. We chose to stay at the Montecito Inn because of it's proximity to the dining establishment. We journey from Sonoma, CA to Scottsdale, AZ with an out-of-the-way dining experience in this Santa Barbara hamlet. The hotel is a lovely stay.

Montecito Inn

As soon as we arrived the staff was friendly, helpful and professional. The room was clean and the bedding was very comfortable and the continental breakfast was one of the best ever! I would highly recommend the Montecitio Inn any time. And to top it off it has historic significance of Charlie Chaplain.

Great romantic getaway before the Holidays

The Montecito Inn was the prefect place for our romantic getaway before the crazy madness that the Holidays bring. The Inn was extremely charming and although the rooms were extremely small they were beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The Inn is about three to four miles away from downtown Santa Barbara (State Street) so we were a bit bummed that we couldn't walk but the Inn provided bicycles for free that we were able to take advantage of so we didn't have to drive. Overall this Inn was a great deal for the price and looking back we are glad that we didn't book a hotel right on noisy State Street.

Nice Stay...

Nice hotel. I booked it cause of the price and because of the Charlie Chaplin history. The rooms are small and the walls must be thin cause we got a call at 12:30 AM saying our neighbor said our TV was too loud... (of course they turned theirs on at 6:30AM... and I could hear it.). We had a mountain view, they were off in the distance, the other view would have been the 101 Freeway, so it was worth the extra $20 not to face that.

Check out Santa Barbara Art Glass for a 2 hour class on Glass Blowing. That is what took us to this area. So much fun. I highly recommend.
