Great staff, comfortable stay!

I would consider the Colonial Beach Inn a great value for the money. The desk employees were all very pleasant and the rooms were small, but clean and comfortable.

Although close State St. and the Harbor, this property is also 1/3 mile from Highway 101, making access to anywhere on the central coast a breeze.

My review of Colonial Beach Inn

We only stayed one night at the Colonial Inn in Santa Barbara. The hotel has nice decor but you could barely move around in the bathroom and there was no counter to place your items, they had to be either on the back of the toliet or on a counter outside the bathroom. It is right on a busy street and parking was very limited in the parking lot. I would not return because of the bathroom, but otherwise it was fine.

Great place, great staff

Super clean. The room was very comfortable. The staff was super helpful. The continental breakfast was generous; the afternoon milk & cookies was a nice touch and included quality local wines; the fruit basket was constantly replenished. The location is very close to everything Santa Barbara has to offer -downtown, RESTAURANTS, State St., the wharf.

Great Value

This was my wife and I's first time to Santa Barbara and we had a great time. The Colonial Hotel was perfect for a quick cheap get away. No frills just a great place to lay our heads at night and just far enough away from state street to not get the rowdy crowd yelling and screaming all night long.

Great stay

The Colonial Beach Inn was a great place to stay. The rooms were very nicely furnished, the addition of breakfast, wine and cheese and cookies and milk were great. Ideal location to walk to many sites. Highly recommend.
