room with a view
As a solo traveler looking for a mental vacation, I have to say the room was absolutely lovely and the ocean view was spectacular. Be forewarned though, there is no in room air conditioner and it was very hot that day. Also, it's right on the main street so the traffic noise was a bit much...even with the windows closed. Overall, it was a nice stay but should be shared with a significant other.

Great hotel in a great location
Spacious rooms, located right at the beach. Good breakfast, free wifi and bike rentals. Very friendly and helpfull personell.

the rooms are older with a lot of updates the views are awsome comp bikes are great, you can just check in and ride the beach path for no extra charge $15 for parking is steep though

Excellent Weekend Getaway
The location is across Cabrillo to the sands and ocean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was our 2nd stay here and we were again pleased.

One night break
Room spacious and quite comfortable but noise from upper level rooms disturbed my sleep. Excellent breakfast with good choice of food included in the price. I had never visited Santa Barbara before but would consider staying at Oceania again. I also liked the pool and small gym but felt room rate was a little overpriced for one person.

My stay at the Oceana.
Our stay at the Oceana was great. We relaxed, enjoyed how close it was to everything, and enjoyed the city. We really appreciated the help we received from the employee John. He was very nice, answered all our questions, and help us out with a few things. He had great costumer service qualities. A lot of the time great customer service isn't show to us because we are a younger couple. Both of us work in the costumer service industry so we really appreciate it when we are treated kindly.

PLEASE GO ELSEWHERE.
the bed was bouncy and not a true king. everything was an extra charge.... nothing was free... coffee in room 6 dollars. toothbrush and paste 6 dollars. little water in room 5 dollars.... parking 15 dollars a day. the room, was very small and smelled like mold. I'D RATHER STAY AT A MOTEL THEN THIS PLACE

Best part is location
The Oceana is in a great spot, easily accessible. Parking is $15/night- not specified and hard to even find a spot. There is continental breakfast, but if you want in room coffee, it's $2/cup? My friend stayed down the way for way less and had complimentary champagne, coffee, and a snack basket included. I paid $6 for a package of chips... Lol Also, the room was by the pool, which was nice, the bed was clean and comfy, but they desperately need to deep clean the bathrooms. I had mildew caked in the knob of the tub and there were streaks in the tub. I will the staff is incredibly nice and overall it was a good stay, but I think I would rather pay less and get the perks...
