Hotel was very charming

nice family location
Nothing fancy, but a nice clean hotel. The service was exceptional and reminded me more of a Ritz Carton (well done William!).

Inn hopper
Great location!
Great location....staff was very friendly and the continental breakfast, wine and cheese were above average. Overall inn was very clean. Need to get rid of the green indoor/outdoor carpet Very cheap-looking!

Don't be fooled by other inns/hotels saying they are close to the beach This inn is two short blocks away and cheaper!

Excellent stay!
At first I was a little thrown off because I was expecting this to be right on the beach, but it was more than close enough. To make things easy, the hotel allows you to check out beach cruisers to ride anyway. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. They treated us very well.

Great place to stay
Services are great. People who are working there are very friendly and professional. This place also provides bikes for guests to ride for free for four hours daily.

Worth more than the price
We have stayed at this hotel for the past three years....every year in June to celebrate our anniversary. It just gets better. And I don't mean that the rooms are so great, they are clean (dated) and average. but the whole place is wonderful, great breakfast, very helpful, wine & cheese early evening and then fresh baked cookies and milk at night. Can't beat it!

Meets Expectations
This hotel is a nicely converted apartment complex. The pool and spa are decent and clean. The workout facilities (which we did not use) are just a couple of machines in a small, converted pool house. The rooms are clean and reasonable size. They are nicely appointed. However, there was absolutely no view. The only windows to the room open to the front parking lot. The back side had no windows, so the rooms were a little dark. The TV was an older style tube TV, which was adequate (we were not there to watch TV). The staff was very welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was a continental-style and the pastries were high quality. They did the most with this property that could be done. The rooms were renovated nicely. But you cannot get away from the fact that this is just a mid-range converted apartment building. I would recommend this for those looking for a nice comfortable and clean hotel room. However, you will not be in the lap of luxury.

The seafood restaurant and bar at the harbor (on the second floor) had great food and reasonable prices. I ordered the crab appetizer. It was a whole crab and was fresh. My wife ordered the fish and chips. The fish was flaky and tender and the batter was crisp, as it should be. You can hang out on the pier at the harbor at sunset and watch the fishing boats unload their catch for the day. Hundreds of lobster and other types of fish. It's a free show and the workers on the dock are friendly.

Nice place to stay
Nice hotel. Clean and people working there were very nice and helpful. Free breakfast, wine with cheese in the afternoon and cookies with milk in the evening. You can rent a bike for free as well. I didn't have a car but it happened that the hotel was not far from the beach or main street where you can find plenty places to eat. Everything was pretty close.

The Natural Cafe. It's a really nice place. Fresh food and not expensive. I would say it's like a 15 minutes walk from the hotel.
