Cozy Nice Place

Picked the Hotel for closeness to the office. It's noise level is ok considering right next to the freeway. The room is cleaned Daily. Free wired/wireless Internet available. Breakfast is eatable. I may come back again depends on the rate available.

North Bay Hotel

Room was small but nicely decorated and clean. Secure WiFi network did not work at my room location but the unsecure network did. Continental breakfast was adequate. Staff was pleasant and accomodating. Location was near freeway but noise did not bother me as my room was furthest away from the street. The location is in a light industrial area with only two restaraunts with in walking distance. There were many good restaraunts a short drive away in downtown San Rafael on 4th street. I would reccomend this hotel for those who do not need more than basic amenities.

Fantastic

I was in San Rafael on business and stayed at the North Bay Inn. It was just excellent with a clean, up to date room and they obviously make an effort to make it right. Nice little couch, great tv and everything clean. Also a classic old fish restaurant(Seafood Peddlar)a short walk away for dinner!

Terrific value

This hotel is about 20 minutes from downtown San Francisco (non-rush hour)and about 40 minutes from the Point Reyes Peninsula. We were visiting both areas. The price per night is incredibly reasonable for this area, and despite the age of the units (front doors open to parking lot) and general lack of amenities (no gym, no eating area), the owners have clearly made an effort to add some style and comfort. High standard of cleanliness. Bed was very comfortable, nice sheets, stylish bedspread, good pillows. Towels were decent. Shower was marble, although small (sink located in alcove in the room). Frig, large flat screen TV and microwave. Couch, table, desk in small area to right of bed. Could use some luggage racks in that area (hint to owners). Not sure if there is internet service. Breakfast, although "takeout" was fine (ate at coffee table in room) - Yoplait yogurt, bananas, Flavia choices, Spunkmeyer muffins and decent packaged pastries. Have paid much more $ (especially in Bay area) for less.

HORRIBLE !

We came to watch the Giants game. The hotel was clean and the staff pleasant. The frontage road and freeway were being worked on while we were here. It was next to impossible to even get in the driveway and then the road crews operated the entire night until 7am.the next morning!!!!! It was a horrible sleepless night! This hotel should be closed during this construction!!!!

Great deal for the money.

Came here for a quick overnight stay. Just outside of San Francisco--easy access off the 101. The location is noisy because of the freeway, but for our purpose, it was just right. Comfy bed, clean room, and coffee and a bite to eat in the morning.

"nice experience and sleep, great price"

Only problem, small parking lot.The room is nice, a little small but comfortable. I woke up the next day w/out back ache. Helpful and friendly staff. We had a hard time figuring out the television, because we brought a child w/us and want to watch the TV.
