QUICK OVERNIGHT STAY
THE LOCATION WAS GREAT, EASY TO FIND TO & FROM 101 FWY AND TO SANTA MARGARITA FOR EVENT. AVERAGE, ORDINARY FOR THE PRICE... TOWELS COULD USE UPGRADE. TISSUE (BATH & FACIAL) VERY LIMITED, WE WERE FOUR ADULTS. TOILET TISSUE WAS 3/4 USED, ONE EXTRA ROLL ON HAND...FACIAL BOX OPENED 3/4 USED, NO EXTRA AVAILABLE. TOO FRUGUAL!!

good location, it was a short drive to pismo beach and downtown. we stayed at couple of nights and we had a good time. i recommend this place

Unhappy with Travelodge
Avoid Unfriendly Staff at this Fleabag Motel
When we arrived our friend's room had the door and windows open as if the staff was trying to air it out. Unfortunately this wasn't working because the room smelled horrible and there was food left in the refrigerator. Our friend requested a room change, but was told the hotel was sold out and they would "give her a can of air freshener." The next morning our friend discovered her room had no shower curtain. Upon checkout we mentioned to the manager that we noticed at least three rooms that had not been used that our friend could have been moved in to. We also mentioned the missing shower curtain. Instead of an apology we were asked, "What would you like us to do? Your friend should have told us about the shower curtain."

Worst customer service, dirty room
When I checked in, I noticed that my room had an unpleasant odor. There was also someone elses drink in the fridge. I asked immediately to be changed to Another room, and was told I could not be accommodated because there were not anymore rooms that had a single bed that were unoccupied. There were, however, many rooms that were empty, but they did not want to "upgrade" me. In the morning, I realized that I did not have a shower curtain. When I checked out, I told them about the missing shower curtain. They said I should have told them earlier so it wasn't their fault. They refused to compensate me in any way, and we're actually arguing with me that certain things were my fault.
